Private minibuses and coaches run daily between the centre of Ljubljana and Brnik Airport. Minibuses cost around 10 euros for a 25-minute trip. Alternatively, the bus is cheaper but longer (45 minutes). Check the timetables on the Alpetour website, there is about one connection per hour between 5 am and 8 pm. Other companies provide a connection to the city centre. Taxis are also available.

To get to Slovenia, travelers can make a short detour via Italy. Twice a week, Ryanair serves Trieste airport (Friuli-Venezia Giulia airport, international code TRS) from Paris-Beauvais airport (BVA). The flight takes 1h50. As always, Ryanair offers unbeatable fares (with flights starting from around €15), but everything is optional: for cabin baggage, you need to add €29; for hold baggage, it's €30, and so on.

The third largest airport in the country, only 2 m above the seafront. This modern airport offers private taxis, scenic flights, business flights, flying lessons, parachuting, helicopter rides... Very nice if you can afford it but the prices can be prohibitive for most tourists. All activities, information and rates can be found on the aerodrome's website.
