DOMAINE SUNNEN-HOFFMANN

Created in 1872, the Sunnen-Hoffmann Estate covers an area of 8.5 hectares of vineyards. Its philosophy for five generations has been to produce wines with respect for nature so that they always reflect the typicity of the terroir and the grape variety. In 2001, Domaine Sunnen-Hoffmann became the first wine estate in the Luxembourg Moselle to cultivate its vineyards in organic viticulture (Biolabel). The domain's boutique offers organic wines, gift boxes, table linen, ceramics, etc.

The Krier-Welbes estate was founded in 1957 by the parents of the current owner. Guy Krier took over the business on 14 July 1993 with his wife Gaby, and in the meantime the modest 3.5 hectares have grown to almost 14 hectares, managed according to the rules of organic farming since late 2009. This choice allows them to produce elegant and fruity wines with a great ageing potential, which are marked by their respective terroir. The Domaine Bastian, of nearly 13 ha, is situated on the heights of Remich, straddling the slopes of Wellenstein and Primerberg. Belonging to a Moselle family, the property offers high quality products made from noble grape varieties, sorted and harvested by hand. Most of the production, consisting exclusively of dry white wines with a pronounced minerality, is aged in vats. The house offers pinot blanc, gris and noir, chardonnay, riesling, auxerrois as well as a white and rosé crémant de Luxembourg.

The Via Mosel' project offers you the opportunity to discover a selection of the most beautiful wineries and wine villages located along the Moselle river in France, Luxembourg and Germany.
