Read moreLocated in the heart of the Old City, the museum is housed in a group of restored patrician houses and steep rocky foundations. You will (re) discover the history of the city through more than a thousand objects, but also video sequences. The museum has six levels: while the three lower levels are devoted to the permanent collection which illustrates the evolution of the city from the 10th century to the present day, the three upper levels are intended to host temporary exhibitions.

Read moreInaugurated in 2012, the Diekirch History[s] Museum comprises five rooms, each dedicated to a specific thematic area. Each subject is presented according to a chronological development from prehistory to the present day. Historical exhibits such as a Roman mosaic, the work of archaeologists, the investigations of historians and the observations of geologists are on display. This museum is located on the same site as the town's Maison de la Culture.
