Hiking Luxembourg

Dive into a thousand years of history! This route takes you through the old quarters of the city, making the excursion rich in lessons. Classified as an exemplary cultural itinerary by the Council of Europe, part of the Wenzel tour has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the way, you will see the Bock Rock, acquired by Sigefroi in the 10th century, and the famous Bock casemates. You also take the Corniche path, the Grund Gate, the Wenceslas Wall, Neumunster Abbey and the Grund lock.

This path was created in 1999, as part of the Way of Peace project (www.strasse-des-friedens.net), "a road of human fraternity and solidarity marked by sculptures". Along a 4 km loop, you can admire the works of six sculptors from all over Europe. Among the works: The Angel of the Lake, the sculpture of the suns or Jacob's ladder.
