Read moreThe city of Differdange organizes every year several festivals with free entrance that attract thousands of spectators. Thus, since 2004, the Blues Express has been held every July on the former mining sites of Fond-de-Gras (which houses the Minett Park open-air museum) and Lasauvage. During the course of the day, no less than 50 local, regional and international bands play on a dozen stages. Of course, it is mainly blues music that is involved, all in a very friendly fair atmosphere.

The festival is also home to the MeYouVillage, located on Place de Clairefontaine, which brings together Luxembourg associations and NGOs. FÊTE DU LIVRE
Read moreInitially organised in honour of Victor Hugo's 200th birthday and the inauguration of the new Vianden Castle Museum, this book festival has been held inside the fortress since 2002. For two days, antique dealers, collectors and lovers of culture and literature meet around the theme of paper. On the programme: demonstrations, readings and creative workshops. The majority of the books on sale on site are in German, but this event remains a key event in the Luxembourg literary landscape.

E-LAKE FESTIVAL

Rock, pop, disco, live-acts, electro DJs and DJ-sets... The heterogeneous programme attracts up to 20,000 festival-goers every year. They can stay on site at the campsite provided for this purpose. However, festival-goers must respect the site and are encouraged to collect their waste (deposit system, recycling centre, etc.).
CITY OPEN AIR CINEMA

In the heart of the city center, the square in front of the Grand Ducal Palace hosts a giant screen in front of which no less than 500 spectators can be seated. FESTIVAL ECHTERLIVE

This festival allowed to experience music in an exceptional setting, whether in the basilica, in the Saints Peter and Paul church overlooking the city or in the cultural and congress center of Echternach, the Trifolion.
