There are different types of hotels in the Dodecanese: the big resorts, sometimes all inclusive, are concentrated on the islands of Rhodes and Kos, elsewhere you will find small or medium size family hotels. More and more, the trend is towards small charming hotels, often called boutique hotels, where an effort is made to decorate and improve comfort, often with higher prices than in classic family hotels. These hotels have launched often welcome renovations in recent years, and the trend is expected to continue.
