The immaculate tables are organized around a central bar where you can come to a sharp cocktail without necessarily staying for dinner. The whole is very beautiful people, in the right line of what you imagine when you think of the Mykonos jet set.

A small yellow neoclassical house on the romantic harbour of Frikes. This restaurant offers a sophisticated cuisine, which brilliantly revisits the classics of Greek cuisine. The savoro, a traditional fish dish from Ithaca, is a must and goes perfectly with the Gentilini white wine. Shrimps cooked with ouzo, beetroot salad, kritharoto (with a kind of small rice shaped pasta) with mushrooms are other options on the menu. A gastronomic address in a real little corner of paradise!

An address like no other! Lost in the heights and ruins of Palio Pyli, this small tavern offers an enchanting setting and exceptional charm. From the few tables set up outside, you can see the rocky outcrop topped by the ancient castle and, beyond, the plain stretching down to the sea, with the island of Kalymnos in the distance. For carnivores, lemon pork and barbecued chicken fillets are also to be enjoyed. Homemade desserts are particularly good. Quick service, even when it's full. In the end, the dishes are very correct, with generous portions, but not given .

Opened in 2012, this tavern-ouzerie which overlooks the quays (it can be reached either from the port by a small staircase or by the alley parallel to the port) is a real museum. The owner, Nikos, revives this family place where meat specialities prepared according to the traditional local method are served: wrapped in butcher's paper(sto ladoharto in Greek, literally "greasy paper") and fried (for fish prepared in the same way, you have to go to the Smyneiko restaurant on the ground floor).

If you have the opportunity, it is absolutely necessary to taste the dish of wild goat with lemon. Or try for example the ibex in red sauce or oil and oregano. Or the coastal salad... In short, excellent cuisine from chef Dimitri Panaretou and an addition that doesn't hurt too much in the end. A very nice address to discover.

Yefuri is a restaurant that is out of the ordinary and one of the best tables on the island. In summer, it is absolutely necessary to reserve a table as the place is so successful! Greek dishes are revisited here in the style of chefs: salad with nuts and orange, sea bass with basmati rice, vegetarian moussaka, baked potatoes cooked with rosemary... The must: Sunday brunch, succulent. The atmosphere in Yefuri is also magical: small illuminated garlands in the evening and relaxing music, a few evenings a week live musicians.

At the end of the port, after the tourist shops. From the terrace of this tavern, the view on the bay and on Ithaca is extraordinary. Fresh and home-made products, the speciality is fish and shellfish but there is something for everyone! The feet in the water, you can also have a drink or breakfast. The place is beautiful with a fast service and very friendly staff. There are also a few rooms for rent here from €60. Great value for money for insiders only in season, but always ask.
