Attention, here is a delicious drop point to stay during your trip, or more so affinities… When, in 2008, Almudena and Pedro bought this casona, she had the charm of a traditional house and also 300 years old, so the whole reality of a ruin. But five years of hard work turned it into a very nice finca, with maximum comfort. On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining room with large screen TV and a fireplace and an individual room, "the four winds". The other four rooms (two double and two suites), with cardinal points, are on the first floor. Stone walls, roof roofs, decoration with beautiful antique furniture, carefully selected, state-of-the-art bathrooms (those of the suites with hydro-massage) and wooden balconies to enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains, including the Coto Bello: The renovation has really been perfect, not to mention the domotics that Pedro's computer expertise has reigned and which triggers electricity, on a simple movement. Set up on a 4,000 m ² plot, the Castañiu (its original name, referring to the wood of oak that surrounded it) also has its own pañas, where you can take a drink or eat, on the arrival of the beautiful days, unless you prefer the whole table and benches, installed in front of the mountain. In the morning, Iván, who will be your contact, will concocble troublesome breakfasts (ham, cheeses and coing pasta, tortilla, sweat and wide variety of breads…) You will be provided with all the information necessary for a good stay: where to walk, where to take ski lessons or learn to fish… or maybe just let yourself live.

For the anecdote, a cross of the shrines sculpted in the stone in an ancient fountain at the back of the house testifies to the presence of this order in the valley. Like other elements that will be discovered in the church of San Vicente, about 500 meters from the house.

A 8 km south-east of Aracena, one would almost think of a Portuguese Posada, it is true that the border is not far away! Surrounded by greenery (18 comfortable rooms providing access to the pool and gardens), the hotel offers a quiet and refined setting with many services.
