Since the 1980s, the team has been working with designers, photographers and archive institutions to gradually build up their own collection of publications, and today they have an impressive collection of prints in the form of postcards, greeting cards, posters and related objects.

Is the art of paper and what is coated on it getting lost? Not at the Typographe! You can buy ready-made cards, diaries, calendars, envelopes, office accessories, but even better: the typographer prints your letterheads, business cards, announcements, etc., all made according to the rules of the printing industry: on a Heidelberg press with lead and wood frames. No offset here, everything is handmade. The workshop and the shop are in the heart of the Châtelain district and another shop is located in the Rue des Chartreux, in the centre.

Since their move in mid-2022, Hopono can boast of being the largest concept store in the capital. Julie, Sébastien and Jean-Philippe's little company has grown: 600^m2 dedicated to decoration, fashion, toys, well-being, travel and sports accessories, and gifts for people and their favorite animals. A real treasure trove! Since the creation of the store, the trio wanted to privilege quality articles, made in Europe and respectful of the environment. If the store is large, the service is attentive.

In this festive neighbourhood near the Ixelles cemetery and the Free University of Brussels, there is a small shop where you can still distinguish between the banal and the perfect. In the Lange Koepoortstraat, home to some rather unusual boutiques, there's Curated by Ego, a concept store whose common thread is sustainability, meaning that items are essentially local (Belgian, but also from neighboring Netherlands), handmade, recycled, upcycled... In short, a store with a conscience. Clothes, home decor, toys, books, kitchen utensils, food... there's something for everyone. Stadshout's wooden boards are a must! They come from trees felled by the city's services and are given a second life.

At Wonder Friends, you'll find something to please everyone from 7 months (of pregnancy) to 77 years old: baby items, decorative objects, kitchen utensils, fashion, accessories, jewelry, cosmetics... There are over 100 brands available in this concept store, all chosen by Caroline and Isabelle, the two childhood friends behind the boutique. You can spend long moments browsing the shelves in search of the unusual or useful gift to make (for yourself). The "We all have something of the baraki in us" t-shirts are a particular favorite.

Close to Gravensteen, this is a must for tourists wishing to take home a little something typical of Gent or Vlaanderen. This small store, housed in a historic building, offers a vast selection of souvenirs. It's the ideal place to come back with original gifts: from Belgian beers to Ghent druppel gin, as well as an impressive range of handmade glassware, T-shirts and kitschy magnets for the fridge. You'll also find postcards and pictures of knights-in-arms.

This lace flea market has existed for 38 years and is located near the Lace Centre. Ideal to hunt for quality gifts, both antique and contemporary lace works. Some handmade lacework dates from the end of the 16th century, others from the 18th and 19th centuries.
