The idea, original, is no longer new as this sign is now part of the local landscape. But a restaurant specialising in mushrooms is not something you find in the streets. In this little culinary theatre where trumpet, agaric, morel or lentin play the main role, tapas, sausages and other mushroom delicacies are cooked before your eyes with fresh products, from the starter to the dessert. And what's more, they are always served with one of the many wines on the menu. Organic or biodynamic, these wines are also off the beaten track. Again, please!

Joseph II of Austria had nicknamed Spa "The Café of Europe". For two hundred years ago, the city attracted numerous personalities from all over the continent to recharge their batteries and enjoy the casinos. Right in the heart of the city, on the Place Royale, this café is designed to reflect this image. You'll be satiated with excellent brewery cuisine and regularly changing suggestions. Concerts, broadcasting of matches... the atmosphere is often lively. The setting has recently been refreshed but the mussels in season are still a must.

The terrace is a delight for lovers of picturesque views, between rock, Collegiate Church and Meuse. The menu features "local" beers from the famous Leffe brand. On the food side, the brasserie menu is unsurprisingly well-balanced, with dishes such as jambonneau à la moutarde à l'ancienne, fine cuts of meat, creative salads, and even a choice of different couscous as well as a few suggestions. All unpretentious and reasonably priced, with sauces generously topping the plates for tighter budgets.

Located right in the heart of the new Parc Tout & Taxis, Parckfarm is first and foremost a major social project that aims to create "an edible park with a social and ecological purpose, and a reappropriation of public green space by local residents". During the summer months, on Wednesdays and weekends, their greenhouse opens to offer vegetarian snacks and drinks: the ideal, and original, place for a snack or refreshment. The Farmhouse also has a reading corner and board games available free of charge.
