The menu honors local products, especially the excellent meats of the region and the vegetables in locavore mode. We had a real crush on the superb salad of local vegetables! Carole, a French woman from Brittany, launched her project a few years ago in the heart of the city. She proposes Breton crepes, real ones, as well as succulent and diverse galettes. The atmosphere is authentic and pleasant and you can choose between a sweet and savory menu. Vegetarian and vegan versions are indicated on the menu. Excellent coffee and cold drinks available. Note that Ti Bisou is also a store that offers gourmet products from Brittany and Normandy. An address that we love.

Obviously, if you hear the words pancakes, Amsterdam, Damraak, you'll know that this isn't the most intimate address in the capital, but rather one that's popular with tourists. The crepes are good, however, and the location, a stone's throw from Central Station, is strategic. If the terrace is lively, it's the large interior dining room that's worth the detour. It pays tribute to the Golden Age with reproductions of all the Dutch masterpieces. Yes, you'd be better off going to the Rijksmuseum to see them in person, but it's still worth a visit.

With a prime location on the Marken marina, it's hard to beat it! The pleasant terrace is obviously a favorite spot under sunny skies, but the indoor dining room is just as comfortable and friendly. This is a classic address not to be missed! It is a famous pancake house that has been delighting generations of locals, young and old, as well as tourists, for years. Here, in a typical decor, on the edge of the canal, we offer you traditional Dutch pancakes, richly filled and thick. The menu presents thematic pancakes according to countries, the Egyptian one with lamb, the Indonesian one with chicken, etc. The children's crepes are also themed: pirate, car or clown? No problem!

This is one of the best addresses in town and you should be prepared for an unforgettable evening. Amarone has proven itself for over 15 years and has been under Jan's leadership for the past 4 years. The sommelier, Yoshiko van Dobben-Takayama, studied oenology in France and was named sommelier of the year in 2020! The menu is inspired by the flavors of Japan.

This restaurant claims to be "the one and only mountain refuge in the Netherlands"! Although it's close to the country's highest point, it's a long way from the high mountains, so you can put away your gloves and sticks. However, the rustic mountain atmosphere is very much in evidence. Nestled in this vast border forest, the Boscafé is often crowded with regulars and the curious, especially at weekends. The cuisine here is simple but homemade, using local produce, while the owners' animals roam about.

Ten kilometers before Maastricht, Eijsden is the first town on the road from Liège. Aon't Bat takes its name from its location "on the banks" of the Meuse, an exceptional situation to be enjoyed on the terrace (which has several times won the award for best terrace in Limburg!) on fine days. The establishment has been in existence for almost 120 years! First as a café, then as a restaurant, it now offers a wide range of brasserie cuisine: from fish and sandwiches to mussels and meat dishes, there's something for everyone.

Pronk is housed in a historic city building, one of the first stone houses in Groningen with origins in the 13th or 14th century, on the famous Vismarkt. One comes here to have a drink (alcoholic or not) and eat (rather inspired) brewery dishes. Perfect place to stop before continuing to the Martini Tower! It is an address where you can meet for a drink or to eat. The menu includes very inspired sandwiches and soups including many meatless and fishless dishes. Nice address.
