A cute little guest house that serves as an anchor for many Pokhara backpackers, as it offers private rooms that are surprisingly inexpensive for their charm. They are decorated with tastefully chosen bedspreads, paintings and local furniture. Clean, double, twin or family rooms, some have en-suite bathrooms and balconies. The decor is meticulous, the floors warm and the restaurant with its tree-lined terrace pleasant. The kindness of the staff is obvious. As a bonus, this inn is located in Lake Side.

The best hostel in Pokhara, located in Lakeside and facing the lake. We love its international cosmopolitan atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness. The dormitories are well-designed, with beds isolated in curtained cabins and equipped with lamp, socket and locker (though lacking air-conditioning). Rooms have attractive panelling on the walls and private bathrooms. Cosy terrace overlooking the lake (as do some balcony rooms).

This really is the best hostel in Patan, slightly more expensive than Kathmandu's youth hostels, but really superb and pleasant. Dormitory beds (air-conditioned) are isolated in cubicles by curtains, ultra-comfortable with locker, plug and lamp, and all spacious, with 4 or 8 beds, including one reserved for women. Ultra-comfortable, contemporary private rooms with balconies, plus a studio with fully-equipped kitchen designed as a triple or family room. The breakfast is delicious, and the atmosphere cosmopolitan and friendly.

This hostel is very well located in Thamel. A beautiful hostel, dapper, modern, super clean and very well decorated. Ideal for cosmopolitan youth visiting Kathmandu. The dormitory beds (some reserved for women) are partitioned into intimate cabins, each with a locker, lamp and socket. The double rooms are superb, in the same modern, colorful vein, with private bathrooms. The rooftop bar is incredible, with a terrace featuring a huge net to watch the sunset.
