Accessed by a staircase lined with an impressive wine library, this exclusive lounge-style bar is camped on the roof of the Anno 1743 Restaurant, itself housed in the restored ruins of an old 18th-century powder mill. A historical sequence, or rather, an aesthetic one, because it's so beautiful! In a pure white in perfect harmony with the basaltic grey of the remains, this terrace in the sky offers a sublime view of the ancient chimney, the banyan grove, the river below... The menu offers a selection of whiskies and cocktails + snacks.

Indoors or on the long, semi-covered wooden terrace, it's the best place in the Flic en Flac area to go out, party and listen to good music, even if you can also come here to satiate yourself in cool mode with salads, pastas, burgers and Mauritian dishes to take away or eat in. It's in the evenings that the bar comes alive, especially at weekends when Lakaz transforms itself into a nightclub or concert venue, and also on Wednesdays for Kass la Semen evenings: good food, good music, sharing the stage with a guest artist.

Beyond being a restaurant, it is also a bar and one of the liveliest places in town where you can come and have a drink with music and dance on the outdoor and indoor dance floors, especially on weekends when there is a live concert on Saturday and/or Sunday. On Fridays, the place celebrates the local heritage with a sega night and Mauritian buffet. Nice and long menu of drinks and cocktails. Nice setting as it is extended by a large exotic garden.

Open on the perpendicular road leading to the sea, 200 meters from the beach, this large, friendly bar attracts the eye with its low stone walls, aged flooring, canvas roof and salvaged wooden furniture. A cool atmosphere, like that of a large Creole hut, partly open to the open air. You can drop in at any time of day for a cup of coffee, a local beer, a mocktail or a classic cocktail. The pride of the house: its signature cocktails with catchy names - Levitation, Zombie... There's also a pizza menu and a selection of snacks and salads.

This intimate, convivial bar, located on the first floor of the famous Amigo seafood restaurant, cultivates the same concern for excellence through a short, but demanding and cutting-edge menu of signature cocktails or revisited classics, to be accompanied by homemade tapas. While retaining the sense of welcome and quality products that have made the family-run restaurant such a success since 1985, the youngest son puts his mixologist talents to work to create tasty, cosy evenings.

Atypical, the place is also the only Caveau de Sabrage on the island.

It's impossible to miss the themed entrance, in the shape of a ship's prow, to Port Louis' most popular tourist casino! Located in the main alleyway of the Caudan Waterfront shopping and leisure area, the machine room, devoid of any natural lighting as if to blur your spatio-temporal reference points, welcomes players from 9:30 a.m. onwards. For bigger, more "strategic" games, wait for the gaming rooms (poker, blackjack, roulette) to open. Bars on site.

A must on the local music scene, this travellers' bar is composed of a multi-ethnic room extended by a garden where you can come and listen to the live concerts on Fridays or Sundays and the jam sessions on Wednesdays, or have a drink with the owner Matthieu and the people from here and elsewhere gathered there in a cool atmosphere - homemade ti-punch, arranged rums, cocktails, beers... The menu is friendly and simple like the place, Matthieu only cooks fresh food, just enough to feel good. Lively on weekends, relaxed during the week, not overrated for an atom.
