Rashid, the owner, has painstakingly restored this ruined house. The 10 air-conditioned rooms, with beds (not mattresses on the floor) and private bathrooms, are unpretentious but very comfortable: dark wood, natural ochre and beige tones, carpets to warm you up... a rather sober, almost chic decor. This charming new guesthouse is located in the part of the old town where the restoration of the ramparts has already been completed. This is an important detail for those who can't access the traditional houses but still want to stay in the old town. The rooms, from standard to family, are all air-conditioned and, for breakfast, a choice is given between an Omani and a continental version. In short, it's an easy, well-placed address!

Right on the Mutrah corniche, facing the boats, this small hotel offers around forty rooms with no particular charm, but spacious, nickels, equipped with all modern comforts (private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, hairdryer). You can walk to the fish market and souks, while others have to take a 30-minute cab ride from their larger hotels. In the heart of the ruins of the old village of Al Hamra, here's a lovely address. This old family home, built of clay some 300 years ago, has been remarkably restored and since 2022 has offered a handful of double or family rooms, all air-conditioned and decorated in a sober but well-appointed style.
