Chepe Express. The brand new Chepe Express train, more spacious and luxurious, is entirely dedicated to tourists. It only leaves on certain days and only serves the Bahuichivo, El Fuerte, Divisadero and Creel stations. Prior reservation is required.

Chepe Regional. Also leaves only on certain days, very early in the morning. It continues to serve all the stations on the line, ideal for visiting the intermediate villages. It is the most economical solution. Reservations are not necessary, you can pay when you get on the train.

Aeromexico is an airline based in Mexico City. It offers domestic and international flights to numerous destinations.

To reach Creel by train, you have to take the Chepe Regional and eventually change for the Chepe Express at Creel or continue with this one (more economical). The advantage here is that the doors remain open between the cars and you can bend down to breathe the fresh air and take nice pictures... You only pay for your ticket up to the chosen stop and then another ticket to get to the next one. You can pay directly in the train, but it is still recommended to book your ticket in advance.

Climb aboard this cable car that offers a superb view of Zacatecas and the surrounding area. This marvel, of which the inhabitants of the city are so proud, was built by Swiss from October 1978 to May 1979; completely renovated in 2017, it connects in 7 minutes the Cerro del Grillo to the Cerro de la Bufa, and overlooks the city from a height of 85 meters at one point of its 650-meter route. You can walk back down to the cathedral along a specially prepared path. Both practical and pleasant.

While waiting for the construction of the highway planned since a few years, it is unfortunately rather constraining to join by the road the Pacific coast from Oaxaca. Fortunately, this airline company is very practical to avoid hours and hours of bus on very winding mountain roads... It offers flights to Puerto Escondido and Huatulco (40 minutes). Be careful, the planes are very small, and the turbulences are felt when the weather is not clear. You are warned!

This ferry company serves Isla Mujeres from Puerto Juárez. Departures every half hour between 5:30 am and 4 pm, then every hour until 11 pm, in a fast air-conditioned ferry. Ultramar also offers departures from the hotel zone, Kukulcán Boulevard: Playa Tortuga (Km 6,5) and Playa Caracol (Km 9,5). Children under 1.20 meters have a reduced rate. Free for children under one year old. The company also offers land transportation + ferry packages from Cancun to Cozumel via Playa del Carmen.

This is the most convenient way to reach Baja California (La Paz) if you also want to transport your vehicle (this will cost you extra). The crossing is done at night and you can choose between comfortable but simple seats or a cabin trip with a bunk bed. Departure days are extremely volatile depending on the season, but are generally on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Be sure to check the web page when booking, or even give them a call before departure.

From Los Mochis, this company serves every day Los Cabos (Baja California) and the city of Chihuahua, but only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The Los Mochis International Airport receives daily flights from the interior of the country (Mexico City, Oaxaca, Guadalajara, etc.), Baja California and the United States. To get to the airport, which is located about 15 kilometers away, take a taxi or bus on Obregón Avenue in the center. It is also possible to reach the airport directly from El Fuerte, by public bus service, taxi or shuttle service organized by the hotels.
