This bus station located in the Magdalena de las Salinas neighborhood, near the Basilica of Guadalupe, serves many destinations in Mexico, as well as some cities in the United States such as Los Angeles and Houston. You can find regular departures to places like Hidalgo, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Cancún, Oaxaca and Acapulco. There are ticket offices, 24-hour shops and a currency exchange.

La Alameda de León is a charming park located next to the central square (Zócalo) of the city of Oaxaca. It is possible to arrive at the nearby Huatulco airport which is served by more airlines and then take a bus to Puerto Escondido.
