The Troyes family has created an area (private) for conservation and protection of the tropical forest of Maranon-Chinchipe, which houses many varieties of birds threatened with extinction. 12 endemic species are identified in this forest. For 4 years, they have opened the reserve to tourism and volunteers.

What do they propose  ? Basic or camping accommodation, restaurant, guided tours, but also volunteer stays. The program, bird care, work on roads, seed seeds for hummingbirds, awareness of the local population in the defence of birds (including three schools close to the site).
