Coral garden. In the lagoon. 16 m. Along the reef, surmullets, gaterins, stone-fish or crocodile-fish, heterocongers...
Akio. South pass. 30 m. Crossing of the southern pass: red carp, jacks, barracudas, eagle rays, groupers, napoleons... Quite a fun dive.
Massif des Roses. In the lagoon. 6 m. Small reserve, it is here that baptisms are often scheduled. The coral is damaged but rich in small fauna.
Cathedral. North pass. 18 m. Just at the exit of the North pass, to be done at the tide gauge. A series of caves, one of the nicest. Big groupers, potatoes, loaches, snappers and some napoleons... A bit difficult to pass.
Snappers Point. Outside the lagoon. 23 meters. Nice fauna (snappers, fusiliers, surmulets, capuchins, groupers, small napoleons...) and good coral cover.
Bevato. Outside the lagoon. 16-25 m. A fishy site, with a wall of 8 m. The coral plateau is not great, but the fauna is rich. It is possible to meet some nice specimens of malabar groupers.
Tortuga. Outside the lagoon. 23 meters. Beautiful and diversified corals and active fauna (morays, rays, platax, snappers, lobsters, crocodile-fish)... Some turtles with luck!
Juliette cave. South pass. 23 m. Along the north wall of the south channel : fusiliers, coachmen, unicorns, napoleons, barracudas, jacks... Drifting only, beautiful underwater relief.
SALARY DIVING

CMAS Instructor, Fred Lucas, assisted by the friendly Bruno, offers wreck dives: there are no less than three in the vicinity (English, Portuguese and American), whose shallow depths make them accessible even for first-time divers or freedivers! A great experience. The team collaborates with WCS (Wildlife Conservation Society), at the level of marine protected areas, and participates in the marking, survey and biological monitoring, with the aim of preserving Madagascar's underwater heritage.

Mada Kite Bros offers private lessons with experienced IKO instructors: strapless lessons (jibe, foot change, tack...) in the lagoon and private coaching in the waves, twin tip (freeride - freestyle), foil. This IKO-affiliated kitesurfing school, the first 100% Malagasy school in Sakalava Bay, was created in 2020 by two brothers, kite enthusiasts turned instructors. The first in Mada. They also organize outings in the Emerald Sea.

The centre organises cruises in the warm waters of the Mozambique Canal on a spacious and comfortable catamaran equipped with 8 passengers. MADA SURF TOURS

The best season to surf on this coast is from March to October (southern winter), ideal for experienced surfers. In summer, the swell is less, but better oriented and the water warmer.
KITE ALIZÉ

The school also organizes training courses for instructors and assistant instructors, twice a year. Jérôme, the manager, is a certified IKO level 2 instructor and is very professional, attentive and knows his activity perfectly. On the spot: a very nice little beach restaurant, La Pagaie (Chez Béa) where you can have a local meal - dishes on the slate and catch of the day.
