Nath proposes good and affordable dishes and pizzas (the speciality, which will perhaps change from the other restaurants of Sainte-Marie) to be tasted on a small covered terrace in the back. You can also come and enjoy the setting for a simple drink. To sleep, double or family bungalows are available, as well as beach bungalows with shared sanitary facilities for small budgets. Nath's welcome is particularly nice and makes us appreciate this small address since years!

In the heart of Ivandry, this fishmonger's renowned for its quality supply of fish and seafood, which is unique in Tana, now has on its floor a sushi bar and a restaurant of great quality. In a very successful design environment, François the chef and his team do a remarkable job of preparing the fish. It is very finely cut and the plates are very beautiful. The more classic dishes are also revisited and the wine list is well stocked. It is the chic and nice place for fish in Tana.

The small address that is unanimous in the corner, and for a moment! Joseph, a Chinese Métis, offers specialities from the sea, but also from Malagasy, European and Asian dishes. The frame, moreover, is idyllic.

The restaurant L'Orion offers a menu with multiple "Sino-Malagasy-Vietnamese" inspirations: zebu slices, chicken with coconut, shrimp curry, seafood gratin, duck breast with prunes. The strong point is also the superb fish, freshly arrived from Sainte-Marie. Depending on the arrival: red snapper, swordfish, parrotfish, red tuna, lobster... The whole is delightful, but ask for the price of the fish beforehand (they are not on the menu), because the bill can be high!

A very correct, efficient and cheap address with beautiful salads, fried apples, grilled calamars, small vegetables, pasta with good sauces and seafood.

A few tables inside or on the terrace (with a lovely sea view) for this quality restaurant. Bernard, a trained chef, offers a welcome menu: grilled or peppered zebu fillet, stuffed squid, fish parrillada, duck breast with pineapple, pork, fish and zebu plancha, fish of the day and a few pizzas. There's wine, there's people, the atmosphere is pleasant, Bernard and/or his wife are always present; in short, a business we'd recommend. The only downside is the sometimes long waiting times.

A true institution in Majunga! Unfortunately, the charismatic Karon who embodied the Majunga of old left us in January 2019. The adventure continues with brio however! In what remains an address not to be missed in the city, one comes to feast; seafood, game and Chinese specialties of reputation!), one can also sleep there (24 ventilated or air-conditioned rooms with sea view), and one can even organize hunting and fishing trips (for the amateurs of the kind). Since 2017, Ibrahim and Laetitia have welcomed you with humility and kindness to their beautiful little beach on the east coast. In the kitchen, Laetitia brings back to life the traditional cuisine of her grandmothers, concocting fresh dishes based on seafood bought from fishermen in the morning and traditional dishes. Grilled banana leaf fish, coconut fish, romazava, honey chicken and grilled tomatoes. A relaxed experience. Two rustic bungalows for 4 to 6 people.

Small beach restaurant, very charming, with a friendly welcome, very popular for lunch. In the evening, it's very peaceful, when the bay is empty. Rachida kindly comes to take the orders at Kite Paradise for the hotel guests. The menu changes every day depending on the market. Very good fish dishes and grilled meats. Excellent value for money. Building on its success, La Pagaie is set to expand and transform into a restaurant-bar-lounge for the opening of the season in March 2020.

This is not an official restaurant. Sylvain is above all the keeper of the lighthouse. With Sylvie, they run the little restaurant downstairs. It is essential to book a day in advance. Lobster is the must, but the fishing son also brings back fish and seafood from his net, to be enjoyed the same day. The family also has 3 bungalows, simple and cheap. A good smart plan that we are proud to share with you.

Based on a well-established concept in Brazil (churrasqueira) or Nairobi, Kenya, this restaurant offers meat at will: caramelized pork, pineapple, ribs, lamb chop, poulard, chicken gizzard, very good zebu in all its forms, crocodile, boar, snake....
