The oldest branch of the CFCC in Egypt is the one in Alexandria. Its mission is to teach French and to strengthen the links between Egypt and France in all fields: educational and linguistic, cultural, university, scientific and technical... The institute is very active, you will find its programme on the website: workshops, conferences, exhibitions, language courses, media library and other cultural events.

The Alliance Française de Port-Saïd is a small Alliance Française where the atmosphere is always warm. You will find a very good welcome as well as reference books on the history of Port-Saïd and the Suez Canal at the Marie Curie media library. The book Port-Saïd, Architectures XIXe-XXe siècles published by the IFAO is available for purchase.
