The place is often festive in the evening, with concerts and thematic evenings (salsa evenings, Belgian beers, movie nights, etc.). Very good option!

A food court with a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, popular with groups of friends and families. You'll be able to choose from a dozen or so stands offering cuisines from all over the world: burgers, pizzas, meat, fish, Central American dishes...there's something for everyone. Special mention goes to Peruchami, the Peruvian stand, with its excellent ceviches, shrimps and grilled octopus. There's a children's play area and a bar with live music at the back. Parking is available in the adjacent pay parking lot.

Opened in 2018, the first "gastronomic market" in the Honduran capital is a pleasant food court located in a historic building, the Casa Quinchon. It features twenty stands, and as many different culinary specialties, from local private fish to hamburgers, sushi, tacos, coffee and pastries. The food court also regularly hosts craft stalls: a good place to buy jewelry and accessories in particular.

Behind this "merry widower" hides a small restaurant where you can eat the great classics of Mexican cuisine on the go: tacos, quesadillas, nachos...you choose your meats, accompaniments and sauces to create the dish that suits you best. It's all delicious! Don't be fooled by the location - a little cul-de-sac above a soccer stadium: it's true that it's not the stuff of dreams, but if your eyes won't necessarily thank you, your stomach and taste buds sure will!

Here, you can enjoy grilled meat in all its forms! There's a wide choice of cuts of meat (beef, pork chops, grilled chicken...), as well as some more original options like the "Mer et Terre," a meat and shrimp dish. Side dishes include French fries, of course, but also plantains, kidney beans, tortillas, cheeses and a variety of sauces (we recommend the chimichurri). The portions are large, the atmosphere woody and almost rock and roll, and your meal can be washed down with a local beer, such as SalvaVida or Imperial.

This Italian restaurant in the heart of the Honduran capital celebrates Italian cuisine: at this trattoria, you can enjoy pizzas, pastas, risottos and meat and fish dishes, all concocted with the finest ingredients. Save room for desserts (including the famous tiramisu, of course!). The restaurant also doubles as a wine and cocktail bar, offering a wide variety of drinks. The small terrace overlooks the quiet Plaza Libertador General San Martín.

Jim's pizzeria, also known as Pizza Copán, is a meeting place for travelers and locals alike: the pizzas are considered by many to be "the best in Copán! "The options are fairly classic (Margarita, Pepperoni, or even the meaty Suprema), but they are indeed baked in a pizza oven that guarantees a light, crispy dough. You can also enjoy sandwiches and hamburgers. All in a pleasant atmosphere, in a shady courtyard just a stone's throw from the main square.

Push open the mosquito-screened wooden doors to discover a place that's very popular with the locals. Both the interior and the courtyard are well decorated, adding to the warm atmosphere. For breakfast, try the hearty "copaneco": omelette, black bean purée, plantains, cheese, cream, sausages and, of course, tortillas. For lunch and dinner, pupusas and local dishes. Reasonable prices, friendly waiters.
