Getting around by bus and coach Croatia

During July and August it is particularly difficult to find a parking space in Dubrovnik. That is why it is very useful to have a map and timetable of the city buses with you. The bus station is located in the new town, on the port side of Gruž, about 3 km from the old town (Pile gate). There are many buses on the island, which is connected to the Dubrovnik regional network via ferries from Orebič (Pelješac). This bus station is not very attractive, with its large concrete spaces and its shopping arcades in the basement, but the services are there: tourist information office, tickets for urban and regional lines, lockers, exchange and cash withdrawal...

The bus station in Poreč, a busy area, is a large complex. It is both a terminal for national buses and a terminus for local buses, which are connected to the surrounding villages and to Croatian and border towns. Some lines, passing through Pula, run several times a day, all week long, to Vinkovci, Ljubljana, Padua, Trieste and Zagreb. This bus transport agency has been in existence for over 70 years. It has been around since the beginnings of tourism in the region. For the urban network, leave the station at the central bus stop on the main avenue Ante Starčevića and choose your bus according to your destination.
