Meiringen is a town in the Swiss Alps, offering a wide range of outdoor activities. Visitors can take the cable car to the Klein Matterhorn, at an altitude of 3,883 meters, from where they can climb Pollux or Castor, two peaks over 4,000 meters high. After a busy day, visitors can refresh themselves in the village.

For skiers, it's a free rider's paradise, but it's also the only glacier ski area in the Vaud Alps, open from October to May, and one of the few with a well-equipped snowpark from October onwards. In the event of late snow or early spring, and despite the disasters of global warming, the Glacier is a safe bet with its eternal snows and often excellent powder... It is part of the Les Diablerets - Villars ski area (125 km of runs). Two impressive 15-minute cable cars take you up to the magnificent peaks of Glacier 3000. Be sure to check out the gullied slopes below the lifts, as chamois often live here.
The offer is very complementary to that of Les Diablerets, as the glacier, with 25 km of gentle blue runs and a very long black run down a 7 km combe, is unmissable for the fantastic views it offers, the experience of the peaks for gentle gliding up with crossbows, and excellent snow quality in all seasons! The famous "Peak Walk by Tissot" suspension bridge is the only bridge in the world to link two summits, the lower summit (View Point) to the main summit of Le Scex Rouge. The suspension bridge offers breathtaking views of the Alps: the Matterhorn, Mont Blanc, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. It is free of charge and open all year round, weather permitting.

The Diablerets Express gondola, with a capacity of 10 seats, takes you to the Meilleret ski area with its link to the Villars and Gryon areas and offers a wide range of skiing possibilities, from beginners to advanced skiers. Twenty-five installations and more than 100 km of runs. To reach the Glacier 3000 domain, you have to drive to the Pillon pass (10 minutes) or take the shuttle bus that links the village to the Pillon pass.

An exceptional hike to do if you are a good walker. Do you like mid-mountain hikes? Near Geneva, the AGAS association takes care of everything and promises you a nice reward at the top of your hike! The view from the Salève (a French mountain at the gates of the city) is breathtaking: the whole of the Geneva harbor, the Jet d'eau, the Jura mountains. A reward that can be savored in any weather. Meeting point every Sunday at 10 am at the terminus of the bus 8 in Veyrier-Douane. Beware, this hike is for sporty people who have some training. Count on five to eight hours of walking according to the chosen circuit (three of which at a steady pace) for this 800 m hike, and bring your passport, good equipment, good walking shoes, hat, walking sticks, crampons if you are in winter, a picnic, water, sun cream, windbreaker and all the equipment necessary for a big hike. Make sure you are in good physical condition: the landscape is sumptuous from the summit, but even the descent is very physical and you should not be subject to vertigo. For the less athletic, a new cable car should be in service from May 2023. At the top, a climbing wall, a panoramic restaurant, a botanical garden and a museographic space will be built.

Thanks to a partnership between the City of Vevey and the Association Vevey sur Glace, this 600 m² skating rink rises from its ashes every winter season. The City finances the infrastructure and the Association is responsible for the management and operation of the skating rink, which it animates and keeps alive. This covered skating rink installed on the lake shore replaces an old natural skating rink, to the delight of young and old alike. Skate or helmet rentals.

In winter, when snow is abundant, the road linking Les Avants to Sonloup, in the heights of Montreux, is closed and you can enjoy more than 2.5 km of toboggan run! Please note that on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, the track is open at night until 10 pm. A delight for family tobogganing in complete safety. To go up between 980 and 1,200 m, you can take the magnificent funicular for 6 minutes, straight up from another era. Just for this little jewel of the Belle Époque, we appreciate the expedition.

Combined station with Les Crosets - Champoussin - Foilleuse/Morgins in Switzerland, belonging to the Domaine du Portes du Soleil and Dents du Midi, between France and Switzerland, connected with 8 stations France, including Avoriaz and Morzine, Les Gets, Saint Jean d 'Aulps, Montriond, Abundant and Oak! The valley of the Swiss side is between 1,050 and 2,250 m high, with 37 ski lifts - 100 km of slopes. The network of Portes du Soleil has 600 km of slopes, 286 tracks, 30 snowparks, 196 ski lifts… an immensity of slippery slope!

Situated between two mountains, Les Mosses and La Lécherette, in the Swiss canton of Vaud, offer a wide range of summer and winter activities. In summer, visitors can enjoy hiking, cycling and fishing in an unspoilt natural setting. Itineraries lead to beautiful spots such as Lac Lioson, where you can quench your thirst at the restaurant of the same name before climbing to the summit of Pic Chaussy. You can also practice outdoor yoga, biathlon and discover the local flora on walks. In winter, the downhill ski slopes offer a wide range of possibilities, while the Nordic ski circuit offers a variety of landscapes. Les Mosses and La Lécherette are also the scene of major cycling tours, such as the Tour de France. La Lécherette is the link between Pays-d'Enhaut and Les Mosses, and provides access to the Hongrin valley, home to the famous lake and dam of the same name.

Home to a small winter and summer sports resort at 1,348 meters, the Pléiades mountain offers a multitude of activities just 40 minutes from Vevey. In winter, 8 km of downhill ski trails and 10 km of Nordic ski trails will satisfy beginners and intermediate skiers alike. Ideal for families, you can take lessons on site. Marked trails are also available for snowshoe hikers. The Astropléiades trail is an educational trail with kiosks providing information on galaxies, the solar system...

Between 1,150 and 2,042 m, five facilities await you, with 8 km of pistes for all levels. The ski area is quite small, but it is truly magnificent, with impressive views of the Alps and Lake Geneva. It is also unique in that it is only accessible by cogwheel train. The Montreux ski school offers group and individual lessons. You can also enjoy snowshoeing, or even try out the 5 km of cross-country ski trails.

Rental of boats, sports trips on the lake of Neuchâtel, wake board, tubing, banana resort, water skiing… rates are staggered.

Equipped with a new four-seater chairlift and other lifts, Espace Dôle offers a good ski area, especially for beginners. It offers 23 km of pistes, served by a total of four chairlifts and eight surface lifts. Altitudes range from 1,235 to 1,663 meters. It's a small, family-friendly resort, offering lessons in downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowboarding and more. It's even possible to ski at night (thanks to lighting), on the two slopes Corps de Garde and Bois de Saint-Cergue.

A half-hour train ride separates Vitznau on the lake (435 m) from the Rigi summit (1798 m). From the Rigi summit there is a breathtaking panoramic view of the Alps, 13 lakes and the entire Mittelland as far as Germany and France. The two cogwheel trains from Vitznau (the first cogwheel railway opened in 1871) and Goldau or the panoramic cable car from Weggis make your arrival in the mountains an adventure in itself.

with 350 km of hiking trails, Geneva and the surrounding area offer a wealth of hiking opportunities in truly magnificent surroundings. GenèveRando is an association dedicated to hikers, promoting hiking in collaboration with local, cantonal, federal and international authorities, and maintaining and marking the canton's footpaths. The oldest in the world (1927), the two editions of the Olympic Winter Games and the 2003 Alpine Ski World Championships attest to a solid tradition and unique equipment. For downhill skiing, these are the accommodations on the Versant Nair slope from Corviglia (80 km of slopes, 23 ski lifts) and those on the slopes of the Corvatsch Corvatsch, seven kilometres from St. Moritz (65 km of slopes). Ski, snowboard, freestyle courses…

The Davos Klosters Mountains are located in the Grisons mountains around the two towns of Davos and Klosters. In winter, the Davos Klosters Mountains comprise five ski areas: Parsenn (Davos + Klosters), Jakobshorn, Rinerhorn, Pischa and Madrisa. In all, there are over 300 km of ski runs and 30 km of hiking trails. The area is particularly popular with snowboarders. Not to be missed.
