Christened the name of the original village of its founder (on the road to Mobaye), located away from the bustle of Boganda Avenue, this hotel does not attract attention, but it offers a spacious, comfortable interior. An excellent service provided by an efficient and helpful staff adds a simple and aesthetic environment: the huge white walls are decorated with contemporary African paintings with shimmering colours, ebony statues are scattered in every corner… the building of a floor offers an intimate atmosphere and unexplained lights, where the stairs follow the long corridors striated by the rays of the sun which filter through the blinds. The comfortable, air-conditioned rooms, but of modest volume, each have a tiny balcony. The furniture of painted wood and flowery sheets give them a tropical warmth. Bathroom with bathtub and satellite TV in all rooms. 

A true institution in Bangui, the Centre's hotel is the point of fall for all travellers on mission and other businessmen. Its central location and ease of access, just a few feet from KP 0, make its strategic position. Its 72 rooms, spread over two floors, surround a beautiful oval swimming pool in the middle of a lush tropical garden. The rooms are correct, but the carpet and bathrooms are getting older. The service, professional, dedicated and available, makes it possible to feel comfortable in this aging structure, but clean and always comfortable. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV and international telephone. Sometimes available in the lobby, close to the restaurant (breakfast from 6 am to 10 pm) and bar. The reception changes the euro without commission.

A long fleuron of the banguissoise hotel, this huge 13-storey gross building enjoys a dominant position on the corniche, thus offering breathtaking views over the Oubangui and neighbouring Congo. However, since 1985, the group has dissociated itself from the Accor group, because of the obsolescence of the rooms and the lack of dynamism in management. Today, its ideal swimming pool, with octagonal shape and pretending to fly above the river, is often empty. To preserve its luxury status, many work is under way and still not finished during our passage in June 2012, including the creation of a left wing and new services. New paillottes, spread over the rocky progress, overlook the river since 2009 and offer one of the most beautiful views to enjoy the currents. The suites on the 13 ^th floor, which enjoy an amazing view on the river, have been renovated: The carpets are in good condition and, despite the cramoisis curtains, the clinquante decoration and the ceremonious jours, all the pieces are comfortable enough. The tiny balcony with each room provides a full panorama of the panorama and the bathrooms are spacious and functional. The Bamara restaurant, next to the all-singing mirror bar, is one of the best surprises. Quality international and African cuisine, served in a beautiful bright room with a breathtaking view of the river. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The state-of-the-art hotel in Bangui offers new rooms with beautiful furniture. Wi-Fi is available and free of charge, which is still extremely rare in Bangui. Breakfast is not included in the room price. Therefore, count 6 000 extra FCFA per person. 

The last house of Bakouma, Father Gaëtan's house, left behind the church, and the church sisters, on the right of the church, are always open to travellers. However, there is no real box of passage here: the sisters hébergeront you with good hearts if you find nothing else and are prepared to respect their religious life. A visit to the mission is highly recommended, because the sisters Cristina, Blanca, and Clarabella, although originally from South America, know the region very well and will advise you some interesting walks.

The beds are filled with mosquito nets and a shower area is fitted inside, with a bucket of water. This hostel belonging to the mayor of Bangassou, Mr Pierre Zalo, is correct.

A former safari relay mainly for the Bongo hunters, the site was rehabilitated in a luxurious and charming lodge by a South African businessman, Rod Cassidy, specializing in wild tourism. The seven bungalows that make up this lodge are spacious, tastefully furnished and comfortable. Located on the banks of the Sangha River, 5 km before the Doli Lodge, the Sangha Lodge offers original activities such as the observation of the 300 bird species listed here (the boss is passionné), the tiger fish fishery in the Sangha or a night and night in a Pygmy camp.

A complex complex created by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) at the borders of the Central African Republic, Congo-Brazzaville and Cameroon, in the heart of the equatorial forest. The hotel is located in U around an inner courtyard serving as a bar. The location is noisy on weekends. As in most hotels, require you to change your bed and, above all, give you a quiet and secure room.

The gross concrete structure of L, was built in a deserted courtyard. But the 12 rooms are spacious and quiet, each with a bathroom and a small terrace equipped with mosquito nets. However, no nets protect beds or windows. In theory: electricity from 18 h to 22 h and water from 18 h.

In the rooms, sheets are clean and beds surmounted by mosquito nets. The most expensive are equipped with running water for shower and health. Located in the centre of a vast concession that also serves as a deposit, this hotel has little charm, but remains the best place to spend the night in Bambari. The NGO staff on mission do not fail to stop there.

This hostel was just a few, one and the best hostel in the city. But this old family concession renovated in the spring of 2006 did not receive an interview at the height. The bucket is rigorous for the toilet. Clean sheets and bathrooms are clean, and the rooms are lit up to 21 h thanks to a generator. Fresh drinks available at the bar.

These few rooms at low prices do not really offer comfort but the place remains calm.

Behind the cathedral (there is a bishop in Alindao since 2004), the buildings of the diocese host priests and co-workers. It is possible to stay there and to share the life of the fathers for a while, which will always provide you with a good reception for the bed and breakfast. Meals and breakfast in the community provide an opportunity for rewarding discussions.

A spacious boats and rooms aligned with onions in a large concession, in a way that is removed from the road. But, between the trees of the yard, the underground knows much about it. Beds are free of mosquito nets, latrines and outdoor showers are extreme dirt. In the centre, a small boats transforms into a lively bar every evening.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The building, housed in the church of Sainte-Famille, in the centre of a set of majestic trees, presents itself in the form of an ochre structure with a raw architecture, surrounded by a terrace which serves the rooms. We take his meals around a huge table, on the veranda, with priests and seminarians. Here the word is open and the dialogue is spontaneous. In the evening, voices of children singing songs escape from the church, while the sun rises behind the huge cymbals that seem to be watching the parish. In principle, you can arrive when you want, but an hour is appropriate. If you stay at the parish, you will have to bow to a few obvious rules of decency. One of the best addresses of the city, not only to sleep, but especially for interesting exchange.

Located on the edge of the trail, this large white hostel offers 10 clean and spacious rooms at 3 000 CFA. Bed nets and sheets are in good condition and clean. No doubt the best hostel in Carnot.
