Omar Guisse, son of a surfing family, has set up a small surf school on the edge of the lagoon to share his passion. Here, beginners and advanced surfers alike can take surfing lessons, rent a board for a few hours on the Atlantic waves or a skimboard to glide across the water. The less adventurous can enjoy a paddle or boat trip on the lagoon, passing through beautiful scenery. Kayaks are also available for hire for a pleasant crossing from the lagoon to the ocean. Competitions are sometimes organized.

This fishing center is located in front of the island of Ngor. From here you will meet blue marlin, sailfish, dolphins, dolphins, sharks, barracudas, red carp, tuna, trevallies, badges, groupers, sea bream. Big game fishing is practiced from June to November, trolling with lures, live or dead natural bait. Long-line fishing is practiced from November to June: you can measure yourself against the famous big red carp (djabbar) and rock fish! Two-day fishing trips are proposed to be set up early in the morning.

This is the oldest of Dakar's two major stadiums, built in 1963. Originally called the "stade de l'Amitié", it took the name of the former mayor of Mbour and Minister of Youth and Sports, under the presidency of Léopold Sédar Senghor, in 1967. While soccer matches are played here, the stadium is best known for the unmissable wrestling matches that take place in its 15,000-seat arena, which could do with a major overhaul. It's a spectacle, both sporting and cultural, not to be missed.

Jean-Pierre, who landed in Casamance with his brother almost 20 years ago, is one of the Cape's best references. He offers trolling trips in the bolongs in search of holes and trenches (the boat has a depth sounder) or surfcasting along the sand dunes, a little further north. He can also arrange for you to take a 4x4 (with driver) to some of the more inaccessible spots. We also offer comfortable rooms, with an all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet. To change from idleness and practice a sport in the middle of nature, Patrice Cauchy, French state instructor and his team propose to let the wind carry you on the most beautiful beach of the Cap Skirring, by sand yacht. This activity, playful and full of sensations, is accessible to all and follows a marked out course, very well supervised. You will be able to find them at the sea bar, in Kabrousse, or near the massage cabin of Mathias, where you can come and relax after a session of sand yachting. A hair-raising experience!

The Club Med website is open to external clients. In a splendid setting, between the ocean and the lush coconut grove, you will be able to enjoy several activities, including archery, bowls, sailing, golf and tennis. There is also a massage parlour for those who wish to relax. It is also possible to eat on site: large buffets with starters, various dishes and desserts or à la carte, near the beach. Cabarets and quality shows animate some evenings. Ask for information on the spot. Passport required at the entrance.

Created by the Bicicletas sin Fronteras Foundation, this bike shop (rental and repairs), opened in 2019, supports the Spanish association in their project to offer bikes to young people so that they can go to school more easily. From mountain bikes to B'Twin and Fat Bike, the bikes, for sale or for rent, are new, of high quality and very well maintained by Laye, an outstanding repairer. While discovering the surroundings, you will also participate in this beautiful project facilitating access to education for the students of Palmarin.
