BOURGOGNE-FRANCHE-COMTÉ MOBILITÉ ÉLECTRIQUE BFCME

Energy specialist
5/5
1 review

The regional association Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Mobilité Électrique was officially founded on March 14, 2009. Part of the Avere-France network, it currently has 50 members. Its mission is to educate and guide institutional and economic players in the energy transition in the transport sector, now necessary to combat global warming. The association brings together this new ecosystem of electric mobility, in the industrial, commercial, institutional or associative fields, in order to encourage exchanges between its members and generate new projects.

With this in mind, major groups such as Ikea, Castorama, Leclerc and Renault are equipping their sites locally, as are a number of Burgundy hotels and restaurants.
By massively supporting the electrification of mobility, France is opting for a green revival of the automotive sector. This ambition is built around actions to :

Boost demand with support schemes for vehiclepurchase and recharging,

Significantly strengthen the automotive industry, which has been hard hit by the crisis at a time when it needs to embark on a genuine revolution: that of the electric vehicle and the autonomous vehicle. According to the Avere France barometer, registrations of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles (passenger cars and commercial vehicles) were very prolific in 2023 in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, with 10,146 100% electric vehicles sold, compared with 5,600 in 2021, while sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles rose from 412 in 2021 to over 4,600 in 2023.

In 2019, these vehicles accounted for just 2.5% to 3% of sales in France. By 2023, electric vehicles will account for more than 25% of the private car fleet, or one car in four.

Reduced cost. Still slightly more expensive to buy, electric vehicles benefit from a purchase premium, lower recharging costs and reduced maintenance costs.

Easier charging on freeways. Since January1, 2023, the 450 service stations in France located on toll freeways must offer a recharging station with several charging points available.

BFCME's missions:

Promote the acquisition and use of electric, hybrid and hydrogen-poweredvehicles through education. Many French people are thinking of going electric one day, but taking the plunge isn't that easy. How do you install a charging station in your garage? What is the range of batteries? How long will they last? The association's role is to share information, knowledge and experience, to provide decision-makers with the elements they need to define and implement the best solutions for electric mobility.

Federate the electric mobility sector in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, motivated by sustainable mobility solutions involving electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids and hydrogen-powered vehicles.

Promote electric mobility : by organizing conferences, vehicle presentations and events under the BFCME banner, and by participating in events organized by its members, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Mobilité Électrique stimulates and supports the deployment of electric mobility among local authorities and businesses.

Training professionals: To help real estate professionals (elected officials and local authority staff, property managers, real estate agencies, social landlords, condominium association councils and homeowners) set up the infrastructure required for electric mobility, the BFCME association offers free two-hour training courses (subject to the presence of at least 10 people), either face-to-face or via distance learning, throughout the region, to guide homeowners through the process. In 2023, 90 such courses were held.

Enedis makes a commitment to condominiums. A decree published in September 2022 and implemented in February 2023 allows condominiums to install, free of charge, the infrastructure and charging stations required to take advantage of a rechargeable vehicle through Enedis or the local grid operator. The cost of the work and of use are invoiced, on request, to the co-owners using the equipment only. Charging stations can be installed outdoors, in basements or in lockers, provided that the owners have a designated space.

EDF EN BOURGOGNE FRANCHE-COMTE

Energy specialist

In Burgundy-Franche-Comté, EDF generates 100% renewable electricity by harnessing the region's natural resources: hydro, wind, solar and biomass.

The Group operates 37 production sites comprising 24 hydroelectric power plants, including the Vouglans dam in the Jura, three wind farms at Lomont, Champ Gouleau and Sacy-Télégraphe, producing a total of 57.4 MW, and ten photovoltaic solar farms, including the one in Dijon, inaugurated on November 25, 2021: the Centre d'Enfouissement Technique (CET) in the Valmy district on the outskirts of Dijon was used to install a 16 MWp solar power plant.

EDF'smomentum in renewable energies is very strong, with 10 solar power plants under construction across the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region. One of these is Lux, some thirty kilometers north of the Dijon metropolitan area, which will be inaugurated in September 2022 and boasts an 8.5 MWp solar power plant, equivalent to the energy consumption of 2,000 households. The Lux plant features 22,700 two-sided solar panels spread over 8.2 hectares.

in addition to these renewable energy production facilities,Dalkia (a subsidiary of the EDF Group)operates 14 heating networks . Mainly fuelled by biomass, Dalkia is continuing to develop these systems, as at Dijon Métropole's Péjoces heating plant. At the same time, EDF inaugurated France's most powerful renewable hydrogen production and distribution station(1 MW) in Auxerre, built by its subsidiary Hynamics. It is currently the largest renewable hydrogen production and distribution site in France. It is already used to power the region's buses, and will eventually be used to power the region's first hydrogen-powered trains. This station reinforces the leadership of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, a pioneer in hydrogen in France, and EDF is currently building a new station in Belfort.

EDF is also a committed player in regional energy transition:

With its subsidiary Dalkia Electrotechnics (formerly Citelum), the EDF Group is supporting the Dijon metropolis in the realization of France's 1st Smart city. In 2017, Dijon métropole's innovative smart city project was won by the Bouygues Énergies & Services and Citelum (an EDF subsidiary) consortium, along with Suez and Cap Gemini. This is an emblematic example of how EDF works with local authorities to invent their energy future. With this project, the EDF Group is taking a decisive technological step forward in the realization of the SMART CITY that is bringing the Dijon metropolis into the digital and data era. A centralized control station remotely controls traffic lights, street lighting, video protection and manages events occurring in public spaces. Since late 2021, a citizen application has also been available.

Another innovative project for Dijon Metropole is the European Response H2020 project (Integrated Solutions for Positive Energy and Resilient Cities"), for which the EDF Group, a key partner of Dijon Metropole, is developing low-carbon solutions for the city of tomorrow. Along with TURKU in Sweden, Dijon joins the select club of European cities chosen to experiment with the "positive energy district" concept: the European Commission is aiming for around 100 projects by 2025. The Response project is being rolled out in the Fontaine d'Ouche district over a 5-year period. In terms of energy, it involves the largest collective self-consumption operation in France. The project also includes solutions for managing and monitoring carbon emissions and intelligent electric mobility.

SAGECO - LA MAÎTRISE EN ÉCONOMIES D'ÉNERGIE

Energy specialist

SAGECO is a thermal engineering consultancy specializing in energy-saving advice. Patricia Lesage, who founded the company over ten years ago, offers her support services to companies, public institutions, developers, builders, social landlords, local authorities and condominium managers. We also work with architects, and are happy to take on private clients. The cost of SAGECO's intervention is not to be considered as an expense, but rather as an indispensable added value, a feasibility study to prioritize and choose your work, and can be taken into account within the framework of aid schemes.

Analyze the building's needs. The contribution of a design office to a construction or renovation project is essential to its technical and economic success. The thermal study stage in a renovation project gives you an overall picture of your building's state of performance, from which Patricia Lesage and her four-strong team can show you what can be done, prioritizing work according to your budget: insulation, window replacement, choice of heating and ventilation system, reducing thermal bridges, limiting humidity problems, ensuring air quality... SAGECO's reading of your estimates is essential to assess their relevance and accuracy. SAGECO also draws up a multi-year works plan (PPPT), essential for condominiums with more than 200 lots.

SAGECO is involved in a number of aspects of the construction process, including the calculation of Bbio (bioclimatic requirements) for building permits issued to builders and developers, in compliance with the RE 2020 standard, and air-tightness testing of buildings. Patricia Lesage regularly trains in all aspects of building energy performance, and has become an expert in the physical knowledge of buildings. A member of the ICO association (Ingénierie Confort Objectif 2050), which brings together design offices, manufacturers and installers, Patricia Lesage has signed up to the charter designed to define common-sense rules for successful energy renovation in condominiums.

A partner of Patrick Branchu & Associés Architectes, Patricia Lesage is involved in feasibility studies for both new-build and renovation projects in condominiums. She brings her expertise in thermal analysis of buildings to bear in proposing sustainable, comprehensive solutions for the energy renovation of private condominiums. From technical and financial feasibility studies to step-by-step support for property managers, right through to works supervision.

RE 2020 - Since January 2022, RE 2020 has meant that tomorrow's buildings must be designed differently. Sageco is well aware of these changes, and can help architects meet these new regulations.

Renovation training - Sageco provides training in thermal renovation for real estate professionals.

Supplied directly by the Italian group Eni - known in France for its Agip stations - the gas passes directly from the producer to the individual, which avoids any intermediary and explains lower rates. Rates are assessed according to regions. For example, in PACA, a citizen can see an economy on its invoice up to 6% per year compared to the state regulated tariff. Few people know Altergaz, and according to one estimate, 71% of you do not even know that it was possible to change gas suppliers. Others are afraid and are reluctant.
