Certified by the Société nationale d'horticulture, this plant festival celebrating the art of gardening takes place every year in the very heart of the Plantagenet City. The organizing association, with the support of the town's Tourism and Heritage Department, brings together the owners of small, secret and picturesque gardens in the old town, who agree to open their gardens to the public each year (attendance 15-20,000). Horticulturists, nurserymen, florists, musicians, puppeteers, visual artists and decorative architects are also on hand to offer you a simply magical day and evening among the old stones.

This year, the Notre-Dame de l'Assomption church in Valloire houses the work of three artists from very different worlds, but linked by "Les Mains". This is the sculptor Philippe Desloubières, known for his metal sculptures with aerial, generous and rounded shapes... The outer part, in front of the church, houses his Corten steel sculpture impregnated with the plant world. Serena Carone, whose works are rooted in the present time and often tinged with a little cynicism, but also poetry... She who likes to work with her hands... has a space inside the church, where she offers a part of her cabinet of curiosities, including a woman who cries, another who dreams softly. Nathalie Petit, visual artist who works the earth with her sensitive hands... a practitioner of self-awareness... with the visual and sound accompaniment of the Chinese pianist Yuga Wang with aerial and precise hands.

This winter, the Tripostal will host an exhibition of international scope within its walls: the Vanhaerents Art Collection, one of the major collections of contemporary art in Belgium, will be highlighted in the context of the exhibition At the End of My Dreams. An evocative title for a bright and engaging exhibition that will introduce the public to eclectic pieces by emerging artists as well as big names in contemporary art, with genres as varied as painting, sculpture, photography or video installation.

2024 will see the ^6th edition of the Millésime Auto exhibition, a gathering of exceptional cars on the banks of the Doubs. Organized by the Rotary Club of Chalon-sur-Saône and the Saône Doubs Bresse tourist office, this charity event offers the opportunity to admire magnificent vintage vehicles: cars, motorcycles, trucks, tractors... Throughout the day, you can stroll among the cars, bargain for collectors' items at the vintage market, nibble at the foodtruck and enjoy the many activities!

Every year, in the Sainte-Marie park, more than 120 craftsmen, horticulturists, gardeners, nurserymen, landscapers, gather for a weekend to show you their beautiful crops and their latest creations. Over the years, this event has become an opportunity to talk with real professionals and enjoy a beautiful afternoon in one of the most beautiful parks in the city.

The Potters' Market is an event that takes place every year, in the summer and at Christmas, during the art market organized by Métiers d'art métropole. Among all these craftsmen, come and meet the ceramists who are ready to enlighten you on their know-how, their ideas, their techniques and their universe. Sculptures, vases, teapots and glasses delicately shaped, unique dishes beautifully decorated, small figurines and other original creations where colors and materials are combined wonderfully are presented for our greatest pleasure...

Organized by the association TEKHNE, this event takes place every two years in Nancy and nearby cities and allows the general public to discover the work of local artists. Over a weekend, more than 200 artists open the doors of their studios to present their work and their latest creations. The next edition will be held in 2023, so don't forget to get a map of all the open studios to plan your route.

In June this exhibition with a European dimension takes place every two years at Montauban, through the presentation of different currents.

"Mirror of the Prince - The Golden Age of Patronage in Autun (1425-1510)"

Following previous exhibitions such as Bologna and the Autun pontifical in 2012, From Goya to Delacroix, the artistic relations of the Guillemardet family in 2014 and Eve or the mad temptation in 2017, the Rolin Museum continues its exceptional collaboration with the Louvre Museum in order to prepare a new exhibition dedicated to the flamboyant artistic patronage of great Autun families of the late Middle Ages. Thanks to this collaboration, some beautiful works are on loan and can be presented in this temporary exhibition. The Prince's Mirror highlights the artistic commissions of the high dignitaries of the time, in the wake of Dukes Philip the Bold, John the Fearless, Philip the Good and Charles the Bold. Within the framework of the exceptional partnership with the Louvre Museum, sculptures, art objects and paintings will soon be on display at the Rolin Museum in Autun, but also in Chalon-sur-Saône at the Denon Museum.

Each year, the association Relaxation and Culture in Argonne organises an exhibition on the lavender fields in the "grand" washhouse of Lavoye. The exhibition also traces the history of these buildings, their method of construction and the need for each town for having a wash house from the 18th century.

Organized every two years in the spring, on odd years, Peyri'Art is an ephemeral exhibition scattered in various galleries of the village. It presents the work of visual artists, painters, sculptors, drawers, photographers, comic book authors or authors of artists' books selected by a jury, as well as artists living in Peyriac. The opportunity for the public to discover rich and varied works, while discovering... or rediscovering the heart of this pretty village and going to meet the particular cellars of Peyriac-de-Mer.

The new premises are ideal for temporary exhibitions. The location lends itself perfectly to this purpose.The Archives de la Sarthe date back to the French Revolution. They were originally set up (1796-1797) by bringing together in Le Mans - the department's capital - the archives of Ancien Régime administrations abolished during the Revolution, ecclesiastical establishments and emigrant families. The Rose Béton festival is an opportunity to discover artists from urban cultures. It is supported by the city of Toulouse, which is involved in the promotion of contemporary artistic creation. It is a protean event. First, in April, an urban art trail is set up throughout the city, created by creators from all over the world, to transform Toulouse into an open-air gallery. Then, in September, an exhibition will take place at the Abattoirs, focusing on three artists. Laughing at the programme at the Cave Bear Museum: the Swiss collective Plonk & Replonk, known for its hilarious hijackings of old photographs and postcards, has seized it. Thirty-five images are on display and videos with the voice of Antoine de Caunes are presented in free access. But more than that, about ten objects from the museum were hijacked. The exhibition appeals to both children and adults: bear trap transformed into Roger Federer's tennis racket, cave toothbrush to keep breath fresh during the mating season - illustrating how long the battle between dominant male and elegant male has lasted for millennia! -The bald bear skull of the caves would attest that baldness is the probable cause of the extinction of the species... Also noteworthy on the agenda: 4-5 July, prehistoric festival at the Musée de l'Ours des cavernes, with special activities.

This exhibition takes you back to the vintage era. Organized by the Vespa Scooter Club of Strasbourg, the presentation of about a hundred scooter models is truly magical. The machines are beautiful and we are surprised by the state of conservation. Rutilants, coloured: they make you want to buy one. The exhibition Talents, la broderie d'art fait nous rêver will bring together for the fourth consecutive year some thirty international exhibitors. Embroiderers and textile designers will be present to present their works and give you advice. This event is unique in France. Gold embroideries, beaded, sequined, true works of art of precision and creativity... Come to shop, chat with professionals, and admire the beautiful exhibits. Workshops are organized on this day.

On the first Sunday in August, and even from Saturday onwards, the city of Eauze lives to the rhythm of comics through a festival that welcomes many renowned French and foreign authors every year. A key meeting place for lovers of quality bubbles, it attracts around 5,000 people and has become an essential event. In 2019, for the 28th anniversary of the festival, many confirmed artists and emerging talents will once again be present. The Festival will pay tribute to Tintin, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year.

The ^30th edition of "La Palette de Printemps" took place, as it does every year, in February. This popular event usually has a global theme, with dozens of artists gathering at the Espace Saint-Exupéry. Painting and sculpture take center stage, with many new and established artists taking part. The whole event is entirely free of charge, and is open from one week to ten days: don't hesitate to drop in!
