Read moreThe first stage race of the year in the European professional calendar, in the international professional circuit UCI Europe Tour, the Étoile de Bessèges was founded in 1971 by a former cyclist in love with the Gard, Roland Fangille. In five stages, including the traditional time trial in Alès that ends at the top of the Hermitage climb, it is considered one of the preparatory races for Paris-Nice in March. A team of volunteers, in a strong family spirit, works to keep the race alive with all the passion of its creator.

Read moreAn indispensable appointment is waiting every year for more or less trained amateurs of all terrain bikes: on the last weekend of September, the famous Kitten Trophy brings together thousands of mountain biking lovers in the Forêt-le-Guillaume forest. She carries her name in the event of rain before the race! Counsel: you have an interest in registering early if you don't want to remain a spectator… The weekend begins with a 15 km or 30 km walk on Saturday morning, followed by the Kitten's Kid, a mountain bike test for young people aged 7 to 14 years. Hikes are organised on Sunday morning: from 15 km to 50 km. On Sunday afternoon, a course consisting of one loop will see amateurs and professionals struggling on a technical ground: Three races are organized, 25 km, 40 km or 55 km… The registration is 6 € for juniors and 13 € for adults.
