The BWd12 festival, which takes place every year in the green theatre of the Château de Saint-Victor, is the best way to discover chamber music in a spirit of pleasure. The amphitheatre is a perfect venue for this event because of its size, acoustics, visibility and magnificent views of the Loire. All the conditions are there to listen, play and share music. For the past 12 years, this event has become a must for summer evenings in the Loire Gorges.

Come and discover the spirit of the troubadours through this original festival! From April to October, some 50 concerts take place in the 13 departments of the Occitanie region, with artists from all over the world reinterpreting the songs of Romanesque art. This itinerant festival takes place in places representative of Occitan medieval history, such as Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Abbey, Notre-Dame de Flaran Abbey and Saint-Lizier Cathedral.

The Jardin de la Ville is a large public garden located in Pontoise, on part of the former moat that protected the city walls. Acquired by the municipality in 1820, it has become the largest green space in the city center, extending over 2.5 hectares. Located close to the cathedral, the garden provides a remarkable landscape link between the city's different districts. It features a green carpet with flower beds, bordered by tall trees, and a pond that is replenished in spring. To the west of the green carpet are shaded areas with a bandstand, a children's playground and a steep belvedere.

Vibrations and emotions are shared with this festival, which takes place at the end of June and offers astonishing musical experiences around the theme of percussion. The festival takes place at the Hédas, but events also take place at other venues in Palais (Foirail, media libraries) and beyond (Maison de la Musique in Montardon, Espace Daniel Balavoine in Bizanos). On the program: film-concerts, shows for young audiences, and of course concerts featuring world-renowned drummers and percussionists. Giant batucadas, strolls and sound walks will thrill the hearts and ramparts of the château for a weekend. A great way to celebrate the arrival of summer.

Les Paradis artificiels is THE rap and urban festival of the Lille region, and more widely of northern France. Each year, over 20,000 participants gather (some editions draw close to 40,000) to enjoy the sounds of some 50 artists from all musical horizons, over the course of an entire week. French rap, Swedish DJs, American rock, African vocals and much more... make up the line-up for this eclectic event. A not-to-be-missed event!

The aim of this association is to promote and teach gospel music throughout the year through workshops of vocal practice of contemporary and traditional works of blues and soul music. Every year the Absolute Gospel Festival is organised in Lyon, in which many great names of the scene take part.

2016 will be the year of the 29 ^th edition of the Nuits de @. Four days during which Tulle celebrates the accordion in the plural: an instrument of Fe ̂ tu, a popular instrument, instrument of cre, a crossroads of different expressions of expression and emotions… and in all its modernity, whatever might be left to think of prejudices! Every year for the past 34 years, Belfort and the students of the urban area have organized the International University Music Festival. For more than 30 years, the Lembron Music Week has been honoring classical music. Every year at the beginning of the summer, the Douëra park comes alive for the Douëraphonies and is transformed into an "ephemeral musical village". On the program of the festivities, local concerts of pop, rock, variety and current music, as well as animations for children. A small restaurant and a refreshment bar, located at the entrance and stands of jewelry and other handicrafts installed on the site bring a warm atmosphere, very friendly to this small musical event that always delights its audience!

Les Nuits Vilaines is a very young festival which will celebrate its second edition in 2020. A family festival, it is open to all, from 10 to 90 years old (and beyond!) and offers an eclectic, varied and festive programme. 7 artists or groups of national stature (and whose success does not stop at the borders of France) perform on two stages, during a convivial evening

For the past 13 years, these two festive evenings have been a great opportunity to rediscover this beautiful music from Scotland, Ireland and Brittany. La Nouvelle Salle has been hosting the festival since 2023, and audiences are immersed in a different universe, savoring the experience and returning in greater numbers every year. Extend the pleasure outside with the Celtic village, offering typical objects, local products, clothing and plenty of places to eat. It's a great opportunity to introduce your youngest visitors to the sounds of Irish flutes and bagpipes!

For forty-five years, Sylvanès Abbey has been setting the stage each year with its International Festival of Sacred Music and World Music. This not-to-be-missed event features internationally-renowned artists working on a specific theme, and offers the chance to hear choirs, solo singers and organists perform sacred, liturgical, classical and traditional works. Performances take place in the former ^12th-century Cistercian abbey.

BANDAFOLIE'S, a not-to-be-missed cultural event in Bessines-sur-Gartempe, has been celebrating music and sharing with brio for 25 years. Thanks to the commitment of 220 volunteers, a dozen international groups enliven this popular summer festival every year, usually during the week of July 14th. In July 2022, over 40,000 festival-goers vibrated to the rhythm of Bandafolie's, testifying to the growing popularity of this warm and friendly event marked by sharing and a memorable popular atmosphere. For music lovers, Bandafolie's is an event not to be missed.

Like every year, the Gensacais welcome young musicians who come to celebrate the friendship between the Gironde Chamber Orchestra and the charming village of Gensac, classified as a ancient village, at the limit of Gironde, Dordogne and Lot-et-Garonne. Also two other festivals are organized each summer at the Château de L'Empéri: the Jazz Festival and the Festival Théâtre Côté Cour. The programmes will be available at the Tourism Office in early June.

Algues au Rythme is an association created by the young people of Arradon. The initial idea was to propose an event for the young generation, and more precisely a concert of current music, outdoors. The event has grown and expanded with success. From one evening, it has grown to two days, then three days, and now welcomes street arts and children's shows for a free evening, open to all. Shows are also performed, upstream, in schools, EHPAD and residential homes. This festival is also committed to a sustainable development approach and to raising awareness of ecological practices.

D'Jazz Nevers is a cultural association based in Nevers. It offers a varied program of jazz concerts throughout the year.

Since 1998, there have been three to five outdoor concerts. All week is an excuse for animations and musical parades. The festival takes place not only in Saint-Via but also in Montrichard, in Ariadne on the Gallo-Roman site of the Maselles and in the castles of Stool-sur-Cher and Sur-sur-Cher. Winter FestiGrat's in Praz-de-Lys-Sommand is an open-air music event offering free concerts on the ski slopes. Spectators can enjoy the music while admiring the view of Mont Blanc.
