The Jardin du Thé, created by brothers Mathias and Gaël Le Gloan, is a delight to discover on this peaceful pedestrian street. A haven of peace in the heart of the city, where people love to come and recharge their batteries. A garden divided into two parts, each on a different side of the street, between boutique and tea room. With an adorable team, comfort in every season with delicious homemade iced teas in summer and a selection of over 300 teas and infusions served hot, accompanied by homemade pastries. We can never thank Vincent Salvat, the former owner of T'es Rock Coco, enough for having had the idea to open in 2015 this magnificent guinguette which was cruelly missing on the banks of the Maine! From April to September, this large bar all in wood and its beautiful terrace offer not only a magnificent view of the left bank of the city but also everything you can dream of in the beautiful days in such a place: a restaurant part at lunchtime (new since summer 2017), based on fresh and local products, snacking in the evening (tapas, homemade fries, plates of cold cuts or cheese...), there is also a vegetarian formula. The most, the numerous events going from concerts, to electro parties and even dances! There is something for all tastes and all ages. This establishment has become a must in Angers as soon as the first rays of sunshine arrive. If you are looking for a heterogeneous place where the atmosphere is bucolic, you are at the right place. Note that on the bar side, each glass is consigned, in order to make everyone responsible. By the way, what do we drink at the Heron? The new HQ managed by the oldest French brewery still in operation has opened its doors. Meteor is more than a brewery, a bar, it's a place of brewing discovery where everyone meets and where something is always happening! Le Dirty Dick is a nightclub... in Pigalle, of course. If the name is sultry, the decor sounds more like Tiki. This culture emerged in the United States at the end of Prohibition, bringing a wave of warmth and exoticism in the form of cocktails featuring rum, the king of island spirits. Le Dirty Dick has left nothing to chance, whether it's the cocktail menu or the animal heads stuffed in the smoking room... perhaps judging us? The lighting is subdued but colorful, the atmosphere is warm and the names of the drinks are inspired, like El Espiritu de Caracas, a bold blend of cucumber, chartreuse, sours & booze. A must for any cocktail lover tired of tasting the mojito.

On the detour of the historic streets of Bourges, take the time to take a break in a very unusual place. Hidden to the secular eye, in the small alleyway that runs along the ramparts, at the top of Bourbonnoux Street, Cak-T is a tea room set up in an enchanting setting, a magnificent arched room (old hall of the twelfth century of warheads), clinging to the Gallo-romo rampart ain't. Here, in the darkness of this unusual place and a little out of time, let yourself take the time of a cake and tea. Created by Evelyne in 1994, the place has since been taken over by his daughter Aude. On shelves, the famous Monin de Bourges syrups and white porcelain spice pots dress the open kitchen. Here's a place like no other that's a must-see. This jazz bar in the old town attracts fans of this musical genre in search of good values and local artists. Live concerts are held daily. The program is varied. The lighting and proximity of the audience to the stage add to the ambience, while bistro chairs and round tables adorn the different areas. Whether you're having a drink at the bar or on the mezzanine overlooking the stage, this is THE place to relax while listening to jazz. A huge favorite.

Already revolutionary in Marseille with its underground cocktail bar concept, the Carry Nation collective has this time taken over the trees of Aubagne and more particularly the park of a castle, thus proposing to taste cocktails a few meters above the ground. The cocktails based on fresh fruits and herbs are in the spotlight with many creations. The plants used are grown on site. Unusual for sure. Nice eco-citizen approach. Reservations are required as the number of entries is limited.

It's a great opportunity to meet up with friends near the wooden hut, in comfortable seats, for a lunch break with your feet in the sand: croque-monsieur, tart of the day, salad, bagel... in a friendly atmosphere. Laurent and Jade have teamed up to open this new wine bar, very clean, with a slightly industrial style, with its large exposed pipes, concrete wall and raw wood cuts. The slate wall gives the place a more authentic character, especially since coins are cleverly stuck there (apparently, a tradition on the banks of the Loire: a falling piece is an alert because the ground is too loose). Speaking of floors, take a look in the middle of the room: a transparent slab allows you to see the cellar. And there are bottles, from all over the world, except for rosé, which is often the unloved wine bar! Our two bosses are fine connoisseurs, do not hesitate, therefore, to let themselves be advised, they master grape varieties and appellations at their fingertips.

A new bar with an innovative concept in the Nièvre, and which animates with happiness the commercial part of the street of the 13th line. Kevin Deridder (associated with Ivan Diligent), opened, after months of big works, this nice themed bar, between street art and vegetal. Animated by a splendid fresco executed by Keusty, the walls are also adorned with the floral compositions of Emmanuelle Fabre, florist in Nevers. Recently opened, this bright little coffee shop is a wonderful discovery. All day long, you can indulge in cakes, pastries and other gourmet pastries, such as the bacon roll with maple syrup. The drinks menu is a real eye-catcher, with delicious coffees and lattes, and especially a colorful Ice Tea Magic! On the savoury side, a number of world-influenced dishes are perfectly executed: subtly spiced shakshouka, creamy eggs Benedict, seasonal tartine on organic sourdough bread... Already our new favorite kitchen!

Managed by Hugo, La Rafale, a charming bar located on a small square in the upper town, is a fine example of what a place like this should be: a lively place where there's always something going on, and where you're greeted with a smile. In addition to the delicious house-arranged rums, there's also a beer cellar (open Wednesday to Sunday), inviting you to discover dozens of red, white and blond beers! You can also attend matches or beautiful exhibitions.

With Cavoua, healthy cuisine and relaxation are at your fingertips. This charming place designed by Vincent and Mathieu offers delicious coffees, teas and detox juices as well as sweets for all meals of the day. Here, the decoration, a subtle mix of industrial and Scandinavian style, leads to quietness. The brunches are irresistible but so are the home-made dishes. The service is impeccable, the welcome warm and the products in season. The mascot Oréo, a boston terrier, is adorable and symbolizes the sweetness of life.

Le Champ Commun, located at the gateway to Brocéliande, in Augan, represents the cooperative spirit and local roots. This rustically decorated establishment, with its natural materials and vintage objects, combines a traditional grocery store selling local and organic produce with a concert bar. You'll be able to enjoy home-cooked recipes and vegetarian dishes with a local beer. Everything is designed to respect the motto "Alone, we go faster; together, we go further", by promoting local encounters and resources.

It's tea time in Montmorillon, and we're off to La Terrasse. In this cocooning place, Kim Stupple will satisfy your cravings for tea and English delicacies (carrot cake, scone...). We assure you, everything here is homemade! On this side of the bridge, there's a distinctly British accent in the air. The decor of the dining room is in keeping with the theme, very... green and flowery - lovely -, but what really appealed to us was the famous terrace overlooking the bridge over the Gartempe and the medieval town. And with that, how about a cup of tea ?

The café-concert Le Tempo is well known to Guémené residents. Since 2021, Nico and Émilie have been the happy owners. The Bidule combines a cellar and a bar impossible to circumvent. The atmosphere is ultra-convivial and animated. L'Astronome is the city's very first rooftop restaurant. The place is superb, all glass and wood, with sober lines, trendy fittings and chic, understated furnishings. For an evening, you'd think you were in one of the hottest spots in a European capital! The wine list is short, uncluttered, well thought-out and qualitative. You can easily nibble before a show, with a few tasty planks. The ambience rises to a crescendo with a carefully thought-out sound system. Outside, you can admire the Tour de l'Europe and the Temple Saint-Étienne.

The English art of living has been invited to the heart of this small village in Puisaye where the British Jayne has joined forces with her daughter Natasha to create this very cosy and warmBritish-Poyaudin Tea Room.
