Day 2: Birdwatching in Nyandungu urban wetland park and transfer to Akagera

Steps: Parc National De L'Akagera

After breakfast, we have a brief birding at Nyandungu Urban Wetland Eco-tourism Park. After lunch, we drive at Akagera National Park. We have a short break at Kayonza for a cup of coffee then proceed at Akagera Transit Lodge where the accommodation and dinner are booked

Day 3: Birdwatching and game driving in Akagera National Park

Steps: Parc National De L'Akagera

After breakfast, we have a morning game viewing and bird-watching in Akagera National Park. We can see a bunch of bird species and animals like Giraffe, Buffaloes, Zebra, Topi, etc. and at 12pm, we break for lunch. We resume our activity at 3pm to see more animals until 5.30pm

Day 4: Birdwatching and game driving in Akagera National Park

Steps: Parc National De L'Akagera

After breakfast, we start birding at the garden of Akagera Game Lodge and we can see rare animals like Red-faced Barbet before we proceed with game viewing on hill side. We can see more birds species and animals like Elephants, Impala, etc. and at 12pm, we break for lunch. We resume our activity at 3pm and then we have a sunset boat at 4.30pm until 6.00pm to see flocks of waterbirds, Hippopotamus and Crocodiles.

Day 5: Bird and animal watching and transfer to Bugesera

With our packed lunch, we drive north of the park to cross plain and valley where big animals are easily seen when they are grazing. We can see Giraffe, Waterback, Reed-buck. etc Later afternoon, we drive to Bugesera Lodge

After breakfast, we drive to Gashora marsh and we can see the good landscape and rare birds like Papyrus Gonolek, Carruther's Cisticola, etc. After lunch we drive to Nyungwe National Park

Day 7: Nature walk and bird watching in Nyungwe NP

Steps: Parc National De Nyungwe

After breakfast, we drive to the reception of Nyungwe National Park. We register for nature walk and birdwatching. We have walk in the forest to feel the breeze of the nature forest until 12pm. Our lunch is at the guest house. Afternoon, we resume an afternoon nature walk at 3pm until 5pm

We start our drive to trek the closest apes to human being, Chimpanzees. The tracking goes until lunch time and after w hot lunch we drive along Lake Kivu to Kibuye Town.

We have a morning birding at Buhanga Eco-park until lunch time. Afternoon we relax around Musanze town and prepare for the trekking of Mountain Gorillas for the next day

At 6am, we drive to Volcanoes NP and experience a life time activity, trekking the rare and charismatic Mountain Gorillas. The trekking starts at 7am and can go until lunch time. After lunch, we visit Musanze town and experience the local market and local products

Day 18: Trekking of the golden monkeys and transfer to Kigali

At 7am we have a morning trekking of Golden Monkeys and it goes until 12pm before we drive to Kigali and capture the night flight
