Day 1: From Luxor to Esna

Steps: Louxor

To reach the Dahabiya, we drive for about an hour from Luxor to Esna. We visit Esna temple, the restored caravanserai and market, then settle aboard the dahabiya and sail to the village of El Hegz for a unique cultural experience.

Lunch and dinner are on board the dahabiya.


Day 2: El Kab and Edfu

Steps: Edfou

Breakfast on board, sail to El Kab. Transfer to see the massive walls of the ancient city of Nekheb and explore the New Kingdom tombs. Sail to Edfu, then move on to visit the Temple of Horus.

Sailing with dinner and free time overnight on the dahabiya.


Day 3: Bisaw and Selsela

Breakfast on board. Visit to the island and village of Bisaw, with the men in their boats to share the experience of fishing on the Nile, walk through the farms and meet the villagers. Sail to El Selsela, an ancient sandstone quarry and sanctuary.

Special moonlit barbecue dinner.

Day 4: Kom Ombo and Daraw

Steps: Kôm-Ombo

Breakfast on board. Visit to Kom Ombo temple and the crocodile museum. In the nearby town of Daraw, you'll learn how to shop like a local at the market, visit a barn to meet camels and learn more about the camel trade, and visit a Nubian village. As we get closer to Aswan, you can swim or kayak if you wish.

Farewell dinner and navigation to our final destination, Aswan.

Day 5: Aswan

Steps: Assouan

Breakfast on board and check-out of the Dahabiya.
