Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport

On arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you'll be met and greeted by our Airport official team. You'll be assisted with visa and luggage as well as some welcoming refreshments. Your driver guide will drive you to the hotel for dinner and your overnight stay.

Arusha is a city in northern Tanzania and the capital of the Arusha Region with a population of 416,442 plus 323,198 in the surrounding Arusha District. It's located below Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the eastern branch of the Great Rift Valley. Arusha has a temperate climate. The city is close to the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park

Steps: Manyara National Park

After breakfast and a short pre-safari briefing, you will be driven to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive in the park until afternoon. During lunchtime, your driver will set and prepare the table for a full hot meal lunch. Enjoy soup, bread rolls, main dish and fruits salad followed by a glass of wine/tea and coffee. After lunch, continue with a game drive until the evening when you'll drive to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Manyara provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Inland of the floodplain, a narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favored haunt of Manyara’s legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants.

Day 3: Admire the Impressive Landscape around Lake Natron

Steps: Lake Natron

After having your breakfast at Lodge Lake Manyara, it is time to continue your safari adventure! Today, you will enjoy a road trip to Lake Natron. The drive will take up to 4 hours and will take you along the ever-changing landscapes of Tanzania. From the lush green vegetation around the Great Rift Valley, the environment will slowly change into dry, arid and dusty landscapes. The closer you get to Lake Natron, the more you will see remains of old volcanoes rise around you, it seems almost unearth-like! You will drive by one of the few active volcanoes—Ol Doinyo Lengai, which means "The Mountain of God" in the Masai language.

Day 4: Visit to Ngare Sero Waterfalls

Today, you will explore the surroundings of Lake Natron by joining a Masai guided walk to or a walk to the Ngare Sero Waterfalls. This hike will take either 30 minutes or up to 2 hours, depending on whether you want to take the adventurous route through the river or the newly paved pathway along the side. Remember to wear comfortable shoes and bring your swimsuit as you will get the chance to take a refreshing dip once you arrive at the waterfall!

Day 5: Flamingos and a Masai Boma

Steps: Lake Natron

This morning, our Masai guide will take you on a walk around the shores of Lake Natron in search of the lesser flamingo. Lake Natron is the most important and regular breeding site for lesser flamingos in East Africa, and during the breeding season, Lake Natron hosts up to 2.5 million flamingos. Around midday, you will depart from Lake Natron and enjoy a safari game drive to Ololosokwan, where you will spend the night at Africa Safari Maasai Boma. This accommodation is inspired by the traditional Masai bomas, which you will encounter along the way, and will give you a unique experience of their culture in a comfortable way.

Day 6: Serengeti-Mara Ecosystem

Steps: Serengeti National Park

On this day, you will enjoy a game drive in the Pololeti Game Reserve, which is an essential area for wildebeest breeding and a corridor for the animals coming from the Serengeti National Park. Because wildlife knows no boundaries, you will find a wide variety of animals in the game reserve, such as lions, roaming elephants, grazing buffalo, running antelope and many more!

Day 7: The Endless Plains of Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

Once you have enjoyed your breakfast, the acacia-studded savannah welcomes you to explore its wildlife. Another day is filled with a safari adventure, and by the end of the day, you understand the meaning of the name "Serengeti" to be "endless plains". A safari game drive in the world-famous Serengeti National Park is an unforgettable experience!

Day 8: Serengeti National Park

Steps: Serengeti National Park

Today, you will have a hot air balloon safari. You will be picked up from the lodge at 5:00 am for the balloon ride. After landing, you may have a champagne celebration and a good breakfast. After breakfast, you may continue with a day game drive in the Central Serengeti Seronera Area until lunchtime. In the afternoon, your driver will set and prepare the table for a full hot meal lunch. Enjoy soup, bread rolls, main dish and fruits salad followed by a glass of wine/tea and coffee. Late in the afternoon, drive back to the lodge or the dinner and your overnight stay.

Yet even when the migration is quiet, Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. Great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle. Explore the range of different habitats that include swamps, woodland, soda lakes and the world-famous Serengeti short grass plains. See great herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Day 9: Nothing but Nature at Magical Ngorongoro Crater

Steps: Ngorongoro Crater

Your last safari game drive is to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Be sure to wake up early today so there is no delay on your descent to the crater. When arriving at the edge of the crater, you will take in the fantastic view over one of the natural wonders of the world. The crater of this inactive volcano is approximately 3 million years old, 20 square kilometres in size and the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world. Due to its natural borders, the wildlife in the crater is amazing. The crater is home to the Big Five and offers an excellent chance to spot the rare black rhino. Throw hyena, zebra, buffalo and elephants into the mix, and you have the perfect canvas for a pretty awesome safari experience.

Day 10: MTO WAMBU ACTIVIES

Steps: Mto Wa Mbu

Early in the morning, we depart from the lodge and drive to mto wambu for the cultural actives. Lunch will be at a local site. Later, drive back to Arusha.

Day 11: Fly Kilimanjaro airport to Zanzibar Stone Town

Fly from Arusha airport to Zanzibar's Stone Town. The name Zanzibar is an Arabic word that is translated as the "coast of black people". The Zanzibar Archipelago is a series of islands in the Indian Ocean, about 16 - 31 miles from the mainland Republic of Tanzania. It is a semi-autonomous region of Tanzania. The island has the best beaches in the world, and this is not an exaggeration. When you arrive in Zanzibar, you will meet our representative staff to welcome you. You will then be transferred to the hotel. After check-in, you will have a briefing on excursions and the whole program. You will spend your afternoon at leisure at the hotel. Have some entertainment, a massage with Maasai (on request), dinner, and overnight.

Day 12: Dolphin tour

Your day starts at 08:30 am on a drive to the southern end of Zanzibar, Kizimkazi, the former capital of Zanzibar in its heydays. This is now the East African dolphin-viewing capital. It’s not a guarantee to see the dolphins. Snorkeling is very good in this area. Afterward, have a stopover at Jozani Forest to see the rare red colobus monkeys and the mangroves. Then return to the Uroa Bay Beach Resort for lunch.

Day 13: East South Coast of Zanzibar

Laying on the sunbed along the east coast of Zanzibar is something amazing. It is lined with long stretches of picturesque powder-white beaches, which look out towards a barrier reef, about a kilometre offshore. Behind the beaches, small fishing villages and a variety of lodges and beach hotels are scattered among the coconut palms.

Day 14: Drop off Zanzibar airport

Leaving the best island is not easy, but you will get a very short time to enjoy your last day in Zanzibar, particularly in the morning. Go snorkeling, diving, swimming or relax before we drop you off at Zanzibar International Airport for your flight back home, depending on your air transfer schedule.
