Day 1: Addis /Arba Minch
Steps: Arba Minch
Welcome by your guide at Arba Minch airport on arrival. Discover the exceptional scenery of the Rift Valley Lakes region on our way to visit a typical village of the Dorze people, who build their huts in the shape of an elephant. This is our first contact with the Dorze people, whose superb dwellings are unique in this region.

Day 2: Arba Minch/Lake Chamo cruise/Jinka
Steps: Arba Minch, Jinka
In the morning, board a motorboat and discover Lake Chamo. You may be lucky enough to spot the lake's many crocodiles and bathing hippos. Continue south to Jinka. En route, meeting with the Benna and Tsemay peoples.

Day 3: Jinka/Turmi
Departure for the Mursi village through the Mago Park. Perhaps the most ethnographic day of your tour, this excursion takes us to the land of the Mursi, world-famous for the women's clay labial insert. The Mursi are an almost prehistoric community. Around the age of 15, the elders remove the 4 lower canines (2 in boys, no disc to insert) from young Mursi girls and pierce the lower lip to insert the labial disc, which can be up to 30 centimetres in diameter.
Then off to Turmi, another day devoted to meeting the peoples of the Omo Valley. Visit to a Hamer village, one of the valley's most numerous peoples. They are farmers and stockbreeders, and also produce some very fine pottery.

Day 4: Turmi / Arba minch
Steps: Arba Minch, Turmi
Drive through the Rift Valley. Stop en route to meet the Konso people, renowned for having developed the system of terrace cultivation. This fertile region grows some of the best coffee in Ethiopia. You may be lucky enough to spot a few dik-dik, as well as secretaries, ostriches and other bird species.

Day 5: Arba Minch / Addis
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Arba Minch airport for your flight to Addis Ababa.
