Day 1: Addis Ababa city tour
Steps: Addis-Abeba
In the morning, arrive at Addis Ababa airport. Meet your tour guide outside the arrivals hall. Transfer to your hotel. Refreshment break if you arrive in the morning. Then, depending on your arrival time, a discovery tour of Addis Ababa, a city in the throes of change and headquarters of the African Union. You'll make your first visits to Ethiopian Orthodox churches, including the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, climb to Mount Entoto and visit the former imperial palace, from where you can overlook the entire city at 3,200 m above sea level. Then on to Merkato, one of the largest steps in Africa, and the Anwar Mosque, the largest and one of the oldest mosques in Addis Ababa. The mosque was built in 1922, and features beautiful white and green architecture.

Day 2: Meet the Mursi, famous for their lip plates
Morning flight to Jinka, then off to Mago National Park to meet the Mursi people. The Mursi, agro-pastoralists, are located in the Mago National Park. Mursi women have their lips pierced with a fire-reddened tip, and their lower incisors removed. Smeared with butter to hasten healing and ensure the elasticity of the flesh, the lip is then pierced with increasingly large labrets, up to the most imposing 18 cm in diameter. Return to Jinka and visit the village of Ari, renowned for its traditional crafts, especially pottery and weaving.
Note: On the way, you'll visit the famous Keyafer market (every Thursday), where many tribes gather.
