From Makrigialos, a little further along the coast, take a boat to theisland of Koufonissi, its ancient theatre and beautiful beach. Excursion around the island. Then direction Koutsounari, further west where there is a camping. Evening in Ierapetra where you can visit the old quarter after a good meal in one of the taverns of the port.
