Archeological museum of Archanes exhibiting a collection of pieces from the Minoan period.
The archaeological museum is housed in a small neoclassical building in which, until 1920, the village primary school functioned. Notice, after crossing the gate, the Ottoman period fountain on your left! The only room houses a small but very interesting archaeological collection of pieces from the Minoan period, particularly from the excavations of the cemetery of Fourni. There are vases, ivory jewellery, sculptures, sarcophagi... Comments in English. At the reception desk, ask for the map of the city.
