Day 1: An overview of the country from Mount Nebo

Steps: Madaba, Mont Nebo

From Amman, head to Madaba and stop on the way to admire the view from the top of Mount Nebo. The Jordan Valley is perfectly visible on one side and the Dead Sea on the other. Then take a short trip to the Wadi al-Mujib nature reserve to see the great Jordanian canyon.

Day 2: Along the Valley of the Kings

Steps: Dana

Follow the Valley of the Kings road to Dana. Dana Nature Reserve is one of the most spectacular in the country, also known for its large canyon. Jordan is trying to establish an ecotourism that will allow you to get in touch with the people for a discovery of nature but also human. Sleep on site or drive to Petra.

Day 3: Discovery of the Petra site

Devote the first day to a very classic visit of the most photogenic of Jordanian sites. Two days are really necessary to overcome this ancient wonder.

Day 4: Discovery of the Petra Site (continued)

Steps: At-Taybeh

Get up early in the morning to begin the ascent of Jebel al-Madhbah into the rasantes lights of sunrise. This is a unique opportunity to make photos of the site without being crushed by light. Then go hiking around Petra, on foot, on foot or by camel to Qubba or Taybet Zaman.

Day 5: The Wadi Rum

After this break in Petra, head for the Jordanian natural treasure: Wadi Rum. Schedule a hike and don't miss spending a night under the stars in the desert to observe the magical spectacle of the stars, far from any light pollution.

Day 6: Swimming in the Red Sea

Join the Gulf of Aqaba and take advantage of this last day to rest with a good swim in the Red Sea, or by diving to discover its sumptuous underwater world. If you have enough time, a hike or a camel ride from Wadi Rum to Aqaba is perfectly possible and will take you off the beaten track by taking you further into the desert.
