Day 1: Journey to the end of the world

Steps: Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales, Parque Nacional Torres Del Paine

Landing at Punta Arenas. Take the road to Torres del Paine Park, crossing the vast expanses of the pampas. Stop off in Puerto Natales to discover this charming town on the edge of a fjord. Load up on food for the next 7 days and, once you've packed your camping gear, head back to Torres del Paine. The local wildlife - guanacos, condors, ñandus (native "emus") - will greet you as you reach Chilean Patagonia's best-known national park. Enter the park via Laguna Amarga and spend the night in the Las Torres area.

Day 2: Dickson Trekking

Las Torres sector, Torres del Paine. In the early morning, walk through Serón Woods: a peaceful warm-up for 32 kilometres of unforgettable trekking. Walk along the Paine River and pass through the Serón camp before starting the ascent that will lead you to a fantastic view of Lake Paine. You will then reach the lesser known part of the massif, walking through daisy fields before reaching the Dickson camp, for an average of 10 hours of walking. A well-deserved night on the lake awaits you!

Day 3: Trekking Perros

Dickson Camp, Torres del Paine. This is a quieter day than the day before, which includes a 4-hour walk through a native forest. Take the time to admire the many views of the Dickson Glacier, where almost all of the lakes in the national park originate. After several hours of walking, the Perros glacier shows itself in all its splendour. Welcome to Campement Perros, a peaceful resting place for adventurers ready to embark on the ascent of Paso John Gardner the next day.

Day 4: Paso John Gardner

Steps: Parque Nacional Torres Del Paine

Perros camp, Torres del Paine. This is perhaps the most spectacular day of the tour, with unforgettable views of the Grey Glacier and the rest of the icefields of southern Patagonia after climbing the famous Paso John Gardner, which takes you to an altitude of 1,200 metres in the heart of a wild, windy mountain valley. Follow the Grey Glacier for almost 5 hours to reach Grey Camp, where you'll find shelter for the night.

Day 5: Trekking Grey

Grey Camp, Torres del Paine. Slowly make your way away from the ice fields on this moderately difficult 12-kilometer trek along Grey Lake, where you'll hopefully see some spectacular drifting icebergs. Cross the lengaforest. Arrival at the Paine Grande camp concludes the trek.

Day 6: French Valley

Paine Grande camp, Torres del Paine. Here you go on another trek famous for its glaciers, snow-capped peaks and azure-blue lakes. Follow Lake Pehoe and cross the pampas for around 2 hours to reach the French Valley. The view of Mount Paine Grande - the largest in the region - will enliven you as you make your way through the valley to reach a mirador offering a masterly view of the surrounding lakes and the Glacier du Français. Descend through the valley to reach the Cuernos camp.

Day 7: Cuernos Trekking

Cuernos Camp, Torres del Paine. Look up and admire the granite peaks, symbols of Patagonia. Walk along Lake Nordenskjöld and its enchanting blue lake, crossing several suspension bridges that will undoubtedly remind you of Indiana Jones. Walk at the foot of the massif towards the Las Torres area, which will welcome you again before the final trekking.

Day 8: Trekking Base Torres

Steps: Puerto Natales

Las Torres sector, Torres del Paine. Early in the morning, set off on one of Patagonia's most legendary hikes. Begin your ascent of the breathtaking Ascencio Valley and pass through the forest of lengas, a southern tree characteristic of the region. All that remains is to climb the final moraine to reach the imposing viewpoint at the base of the Towers, the granite peaks that give the national park its name. You'll enjoy a good rest after this 22-kilometre hike, and even more so if you get back on the road and stay in Puerto Natales.

Day 9: Travel to Puerto Williams

Steps: Puerto Williams, Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales

Puerto Natales. Now you're ready for a new adventure. Fly from Punta Arenas over the Strait of Magellan to the world's southernmost city, Puerto Williams. What looks like a small fishing town is also a hiker's lair to conquer the 55 kilometers of one of the world's best treks: the Dents de Navarino.

Day 10: Departure from Circuit de Navarino

Steps: Ushuaia, Puerto Williams

Discover the incredible views of the Beagle Channel and Puerto Williams on this introductory trek along the Salto lagoon. Depending on weather conditions, choose between climbing the Robalo Valley, or a less demanding passage at the foot of the valley. Either way, you'll be impressed by the scenery and reach the same camp in around 5 hours.

Day 11: Crossing the Dents de Navarino mountain range

Base camp, Navarino Island. From the base camp, it's impossible not to be impressed by the views of Nassau Bay and the Wollaston Islands, part of Cape Horn. You'll pass several lakes before starting the ascent to the Ventarron Pass (696 m), which offers a variety of views of the splendid Dents de Navarino - the singular peaks that give their name to the trekking circuit. Then slowly make your way to the Laguna Martillo camp, where you'll spend the night after a 5.5-hour hike.

Day 12: Guerrico Valley

Laguna Martillo camp. Cross the incredible Guerrico Valley which includes beautiful southern forests and several views of the Lindemayer peaks. A small ascent to 860 metres awaits you to admire the island of Tierra del Fuego in the distance. Join the Virginia Passage camp for a well-deserved rest.

Day 13: End of the Navarino trekking tour

Steps: Puerto Williams

Virginia's camp. Face the vastness of the ocean by slowly descending to Puerto Williams where you can relax and meet the local community of adventurers, before embarking on a final journey the next day.

Day 14: The return

Say "Adios" to the peaceful port and fly to Punta Arenas, your only option to reach the rest of Chile and fly home.
