Day 1: First contact with Mongolia
Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, where the day can be spent on visiting the Gandan Monastery and one or two museums in the capital.
Day 2: Crossing the steppe
Steps: Kharkhorin
Departure for Kharkhorin (7 hours drive). The road gives a first glimpse of the Mongolian steppes.
Day 3: Towards Orkhon Falls
