This stay concentrated on one week aims to make discover Colombia to the travelers in a hurry. It focuses on two cities. First of all, the capital, Bogotá, that we will explore during four days, before taking the direction of Villa de Leyva, one of the oldest cities of Colombia

Day 1: Arrival in the Colombian capital
Arrival in Bogota, capital of Colombia, perched in the clouds at an altitude of 2,600 meters. We will be able to walk around to take the temperature of this cosmopolitan city, full of contrasts.
Day 2: First steps in Bogota
Steps: Bogotá, Candelaria
First real day in Bogotá. In the morning, get lost in the Candelaria district with its colorful houses with colonial architecture. At noon, lunch in a typical restaurant of the neighborhood before leaving to discover the Botero foundation and the Bolívar square.
Day 3: The capital in depth
Steps: Bogotá
On this second day, visit the Gold Museum and stroll through the emerald market. In the afternoon, go up to the Monserrate for a beautiful view of the capital, before going to dinner in the Zona Rosa or in Usaquén. If you are jet-lagged, a night tour in a chiva or a salsa bar is highly recommended to soak up the atmosphere of the capital.
Day 4: The surroundings of the city
Steps: Zipaquirá, San Andrés, Guatavita
Explore Bogotá's surroundings by visiting the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira, Guatavita or the Botanical Garden.
Day 5: Destination Villa de Leyva
Steps: Villa De Leyva
Departure for Villa de Leyva, 4 hours from Bogotá. Upon arrival, we will be able to start discovering the city by walking around
Day 6: Return to the past
Steps: Villa De Leyva
In the morning, horseback riding. Then, in the afternoon, visit the El Fossil museum where you can observe an impressive 20 meter long fossil of a Kronosaurus boyacensis. Also stop at El Infiernito, a very interesting archaeological site
Day 7: Around Villa de Leyva
Steps: Cartagena De Indias, Villa De Leyva, Ráquira, Candelaria
Escapade in the surroundings of Villa de Leyva with the visit of the convent of Candelaria, Ráquira and its handicraft stores.

Day 8: Last hour in Colombia
Return to Bogotá and last shopping.
