Day 1: Soča Valley

Steps: Bovec

The Soča Valley is a beautiful introduction to the Slovenian landscape and will delight the fans of thrills. The valley rises at the rate of changes in the color of the river and all the blue tones pass there! Famous for its rampant current, the Soč 眼has attracted many rafting enthusiasts, kayaking, canyoning and hydrospeed to the beautiful season. Bovec, concentrating many providers, is a good starting point for these activities, but is also famous for its Kanin ski resort, one of the country's leading ski resorts.

Day 2: Triglav National Park - Western Slope

Steps: Parc National Du Triglav, Kranjska Gora, Trenta

Direction Trenta, a village located at the foot of the Julian Alps from which the Triglav National Park is accessed - the only one in Slovenia and one of Europe's largest natural reserves - at the heart of which is the highest peak in the country, Mount Triglav and its 2,864 meters. If hiking and mountain biking are queens activities throughout the park, the rise of the Triglav is more like a test to which only the most experienced walkers will try, from June to October alone. Note that Kranjska Gora, north of the park, is a high ski area in winter.

Places of interest :
MONT TRIGLAV

Day 3: Triglav National Park - slope is

Steps: Bled, Bohinj

From the center of the park, Bohinj will be joined by one of the many marked trails which, here again, are directed mainly to hikers with bottle. Secondary roads serving small hamlets also offer great marked itineraries for cyclists. The arrival at Bohinj Lake, southwest of the park, is a magical moment! The Vogel station is also renowned for skiing.

Day 4: Massif des Karawanken

Steps: Velika Planina

By continuing its road to the east, we enter the Massif massif, a 120 km long mountain chain with Austria's border. More wild and less tourist than its famous neighbour Le Triglav, the massif has many treasures such as the majestic valley of Logar, the high plateau of Velika Planina, and the clear waters the Savinja, or so many playground for the athletes! After a busy day, you will find shelter in one of the many scattered tourist farms in the territory.

Day 5: Massif du Pohorje

Steps: Maribor

On the outskirts of Maribor, the second city of Slovenia, the landscape is softer and greener, and the soothing reliefs of the Pohorje massif are traversed by forest roads that will be entirely suitable for casual walkers. When the snow is part of the game, Maribor turns into a true capital of sliding, often organizing World Cup events.

Day 6: Karst and Postojna Cave

Steps: Bled, Cerknica, Postojna

By taking the south-west road, Mediterranean influences are felt in Karst. The region is famous for the number of caves and underground caves it contains, the best known of which are those of Postojna and Škojcan. The particularity of the basement has created a natural curiosity: the seasonal lake of Cerknica, which appears and disappears according to rainfall.

Day 7: Slovene Istria

Steps: Strunjan

Slovenia, which occupies the coastline in the south-west of the country, is resolutely Mediterranean. The vineyards of the hinterland, the limestone cliffs of Strunjan and the salt marshes of Secolvje are there to recall it. Here you can enjoy hiking, walking or cycling, as well as the joys of boating activities such as sailing or sports fishing, all in an idyllic setting.
