Day 1: Arrival in Cotonou.

Arrival in the city. Visit and installation at the hotel.

Day 2: The Kingdom of Allada

Steps: Allada, Abomey

Departure for Allada. In the forest of Togoudo, visit of the temple of Adjahuto, where the ancestor of the Adja-fons disappeared. Passage to the Royal Palace to pay tribute to the king of Allada. Visit of Abomey in the afternoon. Night in Abomey.

Day 3: The kingdom of Abomey

Steps: Allada, Abomey

Visit of the Royal Palaces of Abomey, today museums classified as world heritage of mankind. In the afternoon, walk in the surrounding villages.

Day 4: Kingdoms of Kétou and Porto-Novo

Steps: Kétou, Porto-Novo

Leave for Kétou. Visit of the city and museum of the fortified door. Lunch in Kétou. Departure for Porto-Novo, with walking in the "red city" and in front of the sacred temples that marked the Yoruba installation in the region.

Day 5: Around Porto-Novo

Steps: Porto-Novo

Visit of the Palace Honmé, where most of the kings of Porto-Novo lived until King Toffa. Visit of the Ethnographic Museum and the Da Silva Museum in a Afro-Brazilian style house.

Day 6: Over the water

Steps: Ganvié, Ouidah

Excursion by canoe on Nokoué Lake. Visit of lake villages, especially that of Ganvié... Night in Ouidah.

Day 7: Cap sur Ouidah

Steps: Ouidah, Grand-Popo, Cotonou, Route Des Pêches

Visit of the ancient Portuguese fort and the sacred forest to discover some aspects of voodoo worship. Walk on the Slave Road to the beach. Return to Cotonou by the fishing route, which runs along the coast and crosses fishing villages.

Day 8: End of stay

Steps: Cotonou

Cotonou. Visit of the city. Return.
