Day 1: The must-haves
Steps: Annecy
Arrival in Annecy. Visit of the old town, the Jardins de l'Europe, crossing the Pont des Amours, museums (castle, palais de l'isle or animation film museum), stroll on the lake shore and swimming in the almost transparent water, one of the purest in Europe
Day 2: Walk around the lake
Steps: Duingt
Tour of the lake by bike (simplest option: return trip to Duingt by bike), relaxation breaks on beaches and at the level of natural reserves (Roc de Chère and Bout du Lac). Return to Annecy, shower, dinner, night in Annecy.
Day 3: Hiking in the mountains
Steps: La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Saint-Jean-De-Sixt
Mountain walk, direction Grand-Bornand. Hiking on site on various itineraries between mountain pastures and high mountains. Take your binoculars to observe chamois, ibexes, marmots and the lammergeier, the biggest bird of prey in Europe! Choose the hikes according to your level and the walking time indicated. Visit of the mysterious waterfall. Night in Grand-Bornand, Saint-Jean-de-Sixt or La Clusaz
Day 4: Woodworking and cheese
Steps: Menthon-Saint-Bernard, Thônes
Visit of the wood and forest eco-museum near Thônes. Buy cheese at the Farto de Thônes on the way back, then head for Lake Annecy again for a last swim or a boat ride near Menthon-Saint-Bernard
