Day 1: Arrival on the island of Guernsey

Steps: Saint-Peter-Port, Herm, Jethou

Stroll through Saint-Peter-Port and enjoy its seaside town charm. Visit Castle Cornet and Hauteville House, Victor Hugo's house of exile (book in advance). Go to the top of the village to admire the view over Herm, Sark and Jethou.

Day 2: Ferry to Herm

The island can be covered on foot in half a day. Far from the city and urbanization, enjoy the nature and silence. On your return to Guernsey, head for the beaches of Vazon and Cobo Bay, in the west of the island. The first one is a paradise for surfers, the second one will fully satisfy the swimmers.

Day 3: Cycling the cliffs

Strap on your backpack or bike and explore the 19 km of steep cliffs along the island's south coast from Jerbourg Point to Pleinmont. The views are magnificent. Along the way, stop off at the fortresses built along the coastline, a reminder of the battles between France and England that tore the islands apart in the past. Return by ferry in the evening.
