Early morning departure for Eastern Ontario in Prescott-Russell County. This region, essentially dedicated to agriculture, will give you a beautiful country experience. Make a stop at Vankleek Hill where Beau's microbrewery and its tasting room are located (possibility to visit the brewery). Then, in St-Albert, drop by the St-Albert Cooperative Cheese Dairy, highly renowned for its cheddars (interpretation centre on site). These are only a few of the gourmet stops possible in this region. At the end of the day, head to Ottawa, the national capital, where you will spend the night.

Day 2: Kingston and Prince Edward County

Steps: Kingston, Ottawa, Milford

Take the Rideau Canal Road (or 416 for those in a hurry) to Kingston. Spend the afternoon exploring this charming, historic city, then head to Prince Edward County, also known as the Bay of Quinte, where you'll spend the night at one of the charming local inns (The Wilfrid Boutique Farmhouse in Milford is highly recommended). Take advantage of your presence on this peninsula to dine in one of the restaurants offering the "farm to table" dining experience.
