The captivating history of ski jumping is rooted in the enchanting setting of Courchevel, a recognized sanctuary for the discipline, acclaimed for its Olympic stadium and its unwavering commitment to nurturing emerging talent. Let's go back in time to the 1940s, when a handful of daring adventurers wrote the first chapters of this saga on a humble wooden springboard. Over the years, ski jumping has become an integral part of alpine ski training, perpetuating the birth of this growing legend.

An "all-weather" toboggan run on rails awaits you, offering a breathtaking experience for even the bravest of riders. This adventure stretches for almost 800 meters, with sections reaching up to 8 meters above the ground. You'll face blistering accelerations, sheer turns, 360 and 540-degree spins, as well as a series of thrilling waves. But don't worry, if you prefer a less intense experience, simply grab the joysticks and adjust your speed to your heart's content!

It all began in 1951 with the construction of a service ropeway, a rudimentary device designed to transport equipment and tools by cable. In 1952, the cableway was officially inaugurated. Today, the cableway takes you to an altitude of 2,010 meters in just 3 minutes, offering spectacular views in both summer and winter. With gradients of up to 92%, an ascent of 586 meters, and some 170,000 passengers carried in winter.

It is in free access but classified difficult. One via ferrata that derives its name from the waterfall flowing through this place, fed by the torrent of the Glière. Starting from the Bieux area, then follow signs indicating "Cascade of the Fresh" and climbing school. It takes 1 hour to 1 hour 30 rise. A short walk, but it will pass through impressive stretches of road. Wonderful sensations and landscapes will be at the meeting. Partir is imperative.

Aussois is a charming ski resort situated between 1500 and 2750m altitude, in the heart of Savoie. It offers a warm and friendly atmosphere, ideal for families. The Aussois French Ski School offers lessons for all levels and ages. With over 55 km of pistes and 11 lifts, there's something for every level of skier. The school has 57 qualified instructors to help you progress and share some great skiing moments. Lessons are available for toddlers from 2.5 years, children, teenagers and adults. Private lessons are also available, as well as alternative activities such as snowboarding, telemark and biathlon. The school also offers attractive family packages and ski lessons at 5 different resorts.

The domaine de Savoie Grand Revard has equipped itself with a ferrata with two courses, one rather difficult, the other extremely difficult. With a 40 metre Himalaya bridge, wooden bridges and monkey bridges, vertige over Chambéry! Don't forget the complete equipment necessary for your safety!

Just half an hour's drive from Chambéry, you'll discover the magnificent Savoie Grand Revard ski resort, nestled between the picturesque areas of Le Revard, La Féclaz and Saint-François-de-Sales. Rising to an altitude of 1,500 meters, this mid-mountain resort is a real gem for Nordic ski enthusiasts, offering no less than 145 km of pistes, while its alpine domains offer more intimate experiences. With its family-friendly atmosphere, Savoie Grand Revard offers a wide range of activities for all ages and abilities, in winter and summer alike, in an enchanting, unspoilt natural environment. As soon as the first snow arrives, a snowpark is set up for the pleasure of skiers and snowboarders. But the resort is not limited to the winter season! In spring, the meadows are adorned with colorful flowers and the trails invite you to explore, all the way to the majestic Croix du Nivolet, offering breathtaking panoramic views. In summer, hiking and mountain biking trails let you discover the beauty of the mountains, while thrill-seekers can try their hand at paragliding or embark on canopy adventure courses. Husky Safari proposes an original activity: the conduct of dog sleds. Like a trapper, go to discover the snowy trails where wild nature reveals its most primary beauty. You'll experience a different gliding sensation, while enjoying the panoramic view of the majestic Mont Blanc. Departures are either from the foot of the Colorado chairlift or from Belle-Côte, preceded by practical tips for an optimal experience.
