HARBOUR FISH & CHIPS
Read moreHarbour Fish & Chips is ideally located on St Ives harbor. Fish and seafood are locally caught and served either grilled or breaded (the traditional Fish & Chips). You can choose the fish on your plate: cod, haddock, sea bass, hake, lemon sole, mackerel... Everything is crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth, nicely presented, and surprisingly light for a fish & chip. To be enjoyed with a Cornish ale. A great option for a typical, local lunch!
THE SEAFOOD RESTAURANT
Read moreThe inevitable Rick Stein table is here! It's impossible to come to Padstow without hearing about one of England's greatest chefs. The chef has been operating here since 1975! This is where it all began for him. The place is worth its weight in gold, often celebrated as one of the best seafood restaurants in the country. But be warned, prices are accordingly high and, above all, you'll need to book in advance to secure your place and make sure you don't miss out on this gustatory experience. The chef now has eight addresses throughout southern England.
THE FISH HOUSE
Read moreNot far from the Headland Hotel on the tip of Newquay, The Fish House is one of the best seafood restaurants in the area. The produce is fresh and refined, as is often the case in Cornwall. On the menu: fish & chips, cod, sea bream, sole and scallops in a variety of world flavors, always with a meat dish and a vegetarian option. A good option that differs from the local pub restaurants. Also worth noting is the friendly welcome and professional service.
PORTHMINSTER KITCHEN
Read moreA beautiful establishment, located along the beach and harbor, offering an incredible view of St Ives from its upstairs dining room. The setting is modern, with a trendy decor in pale tones. The service is absolutely adorable and very fast. The menu features ultra-fresh seafood and fish dishes. We recommend the monkfish curry or the mussels. You can wash it all down with Penzance cider and finish on a sweet note with one of the delicious desserts on offer, like a sticky English toffee pudding served with clotted cream!
