This Lyon-based publishing house specializes in the humanities, esoteric and Hebraic traditions and, more recently, literature, fine books, theater and children's books. The company's catalog comprises almost 500 titles, with around ten new titles published every year. The Bear Pit publishes, among other things, the novels of Mario Rigoni Stern and Sergio Atzeni, but also the Quebec author Alain Turgeon or the Autralien John Tittensor.
