The fishing federation offers fishing initiations, street fishing. This new fishing method is to practice within the boundaries of a large metropolis from the docks. The fishing school of the Lyon union of fishermen on the line is open to everyone. Its aim is to train its students in the practice of fishing, but also to educate them about the aquatic environment and the lives of fish from our rivers and ponds. The courses take place on Tuesday evening from 18 am to 20 pm on the basis of GLFC at Grand Wide in Meyzieu. They are built around an hour of theory to learn the different nodes, the assembly of the lines, know the equipment, the appats, and one hour of fishing on the edge of the Grand Wide.
